Armin Pecsi, born on 24th February 2005, is a goalkeeper currently playing for Nemzeti Bajnokság I (Hungary's top-flight league) club Puskas Akademia. Puskas Akademia made Armin earn his spot in the starting XI, and for this, they sent him on loan. The club tested him, sending him on a short loan during the 2023-2024 season to Csakvari TK, where he broke into the starting XI, made his senior debut, and amassed 18 appearances, impressing Puskas Akademia, who recalled him for the 2024-2025 season.
His 2024-2025 season at Puskas Akademia sealed his fate as one of the most talented youth goalkeepers out there. Although Armin is yet to win a major title in his career however that will happen very soon since Liverpool have signed him for the 2025-2026 season on a club record deal, which is the highest fee received for a player for his club Puskas Akademia.
This is a proud moment not only for him but also for the club since he began training with their first team when he was just 16 years old and now has blossomed into one of the best young goalkeepers in the world, heading to one of the best teams in the history of football, Liverpool. Armin is yet to make his debut for Hungary's senior team but has represented their U17, U19 & U21 sides.
