Hugo Bueno was born in Vigo, Spain, on 18th September 2002. Bueno's parents' details are not available, but according to some reports, Bueno's parents are of Galician descent. The Galician international started his footballing career in the Wolves academy. Despite choosing the Academy of Spanish clubs, he chose the Wolverhampton Wanderers youth academy. Bueno is currently playing for Feyenoord on loan from Wolverhampton, on 13th August 2024. He helped Feyenoord qualify for the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League with his pinpoint cross from the left flank, which assisted in drawing the match against Inter Milan at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza after 50 years. On 26th February 2020, he made his debut for Spain at the under-18 level in a 2-1 win over Denmark.
Bueno made his Premier League debut on 15th October 2022, in a 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest. He scored a goal at the senior level against Coventry City in the FA Cup. On 20th November 2023, Bueno extended his contract with Wolverhampton Wanderers until 2028.
