While the young talent has been the subject of appreciation by his manager and players playing ever since he broke through, this year, he has gotten more prominence because of his sheer consistency and talent.
Duranville is quickly becoming one of the most exciting young footballers in the world. Born on May 5, 2006, the teenage winger plays for BVB and has recently broken into the Belgian national team setup. The amazing combination of blistering pace and technical flair makes him a big threat, especially during one-on-one dribbling. Ever since making his debut at only 16 years old, Julien has made a name for himself.

Julien Duranville was born in Belgium’s Uccle, a municipality in the Brussels region. Growing up in a multicultural environment helped young Julien shape his style of play.
The BVB player comes from a diverse heritage, as we mentioned already. His father is from Martinique, while his mother is from DR Congo. Since the very beginning, his parents have been involved in his upbringing, particularly in nurturing his interest in football.
As per local sources, Duranville was always playing on the streets, and following the style of play of his idols from an young age. His parents took a step to help further their son’s interest in football by enrolling him in football academies. It is from here that his journey began, as he eventually made it to Borussia Dortmund.
Julien Duranville’s club career started with R.S.C. Anderlecht. From there, he quickly climbed through the youth ranks and signed his first professional contract back in 2021.
