Samuel started his career at Chelsea when he was just eight years old in 2011. He spent nine years there and decided to leave Chelsea in 2020, rejecting an athletic scholarship deal, after which he joined Juventus on a three-year contract. Samuel was included in the Guardian's list of top 60 talents in the world in October 2020 and was then called up for Juventus' U23 side in April 2021 in the Serie C. He finished the 2020-2021 season in great style for the U19 side, amassing 28 appearances in which he had four goals and seven assists. He finally made his debut for the U23 side in a Coppa Italia Serie C match against Pro Sesto.

He made his Serie A debut on 21st October, 2022 for the first team, coming on as a substitute in the 84th minute against Empoli. Just four days later, on 25th October, 2022, he made his UEFA Champions League debut against Benfica, in which he came on as a substitute for Kostic in the 70th minute. Juventus were trailing 4-1, and Samuel assisted the second goal scored by Milik just six minutes after coming on as a sub.
He also played a key pass which led to Weston McKennie's third goal just two more minutes later. Four days later, Samuel once again came on as a substitute against Leece in an away match and assisted Nicolo Fagiolo's winner 41 seconds after coming on.
