What an absolute rollercoaster of a match at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. AC Milan and Torino gave us a five-goal thriller that had everything. It was end-to-end stuff right from the first whistle. This is what Serie A football is all about, pure passion and drama.
AC Milan 3-2 Torino Player Ratings: Rossoneri Seal 3 Points but Nikola Vlasic Stands Out At San Siro | Serie A

The game ebbed and flowed magnificently, a real treat for the neutral. Strahinja Pavlović opened the scoring for Milan with an absolute screamer from distance. But Torino fought back hard, with Giovanni Simeone grabbing a deserved equalizer just before the break. At halftime, it really felt like this match could go either way.
Then, a crazy two-minute spell just after halftime seemed to decide it. Quickfire goals from Adrien Rabiot and Youssouf Fofana put AC Milan firmly in the driver's seat. Torino didn't give up, though, and a late penalty from Nikola Vlašić set up a very nervy finish for the home side. In the end, Milan just about held on for a crucial three points.
Goalkeeper
Mike Maignan - 7.0: A busy night for the captain. He made five saves, including a couple of really crucial ones inside the box. From our perspective, he couldn't do much about either of the goals conceded. His distribution was solid, though his long ball accuracy could have been a bit better. A reliable performance when his team needed him.
Defenders
Koni De Winter - 6.5: A very tidy performance at the back. We noticed his passing was exceptional, with 97% accuracy. He made a staggering nine clearances which was crucial as Torino piled on the pressure. He was a bit suspect in the air, losing three of four aerial duels, but on the ground he was solid.
Fikayo Tomori - 6.0: Only on for the first half and had a mixed bag of a performance. He picked up an early yellow card which put him on the back foot. He was strong in the tackle when he needed to be but was also caught out of position once or twice. Subbed at halftime, likely due to the booking.
Strahinja Pavlović - 7.0: What a strange game for him. He scored an absolute thunderbolt to open the scoring, a truly stunning strike. However, he then gave away the penalty with a clumsy challenge that got him a yellow card. It was a classic hero-to-villain-and-back performance. A mixed bag but the goal was truly special.

Midfielders
Adrien Rabiot - 7.5: Scored the crucial second goal with a poacher's finish. He was a constant presence in the midfield, though he did lose possession a bit too often for our liking. His two shots on target showed his attacking intent. A goal in a big game always bumps up the rating.
Luka Modrić - 7.0: The maestro just controlled the tempo. With 96 touches and 94% pass accuracy, he was the hub of everything Milan did well. He didn't create a clear-cut chance, but his ability to keep the ball and recycle possession was vital. It felt like he was playing the game at his own pace.
Youssouf Fofana - 8.0: A fantastic performance capped with a well-taken goal. In just 70 minutes, he was everywhere. He created three chances for his teammates and showed his class on the ball. What stood out to us was his energy and drive from midfield, which Torino found hard to handle. He was a key reason Milan won this game.
Davide Bartesaghi - 6.5: An adventurous performance down the left. He was always looking to get forward, creating two chances and whipping in three crosses. Defensively he was a bit suspect, getting dribbled past once. He also blazed three shots, which showed his desire, if not his accuracy.
Alexis Saelemaekers - 7.0: A typically industrious performance from the Belgian. He was a workhorse, recovering four balls and drawing two fouls. He created two key passes and was a reliable outlet for the team. A solid, if unspectacular, performance. Did his job well.
Forwards
Niclas Füllkrug - 6.0: A frustrating evening for the big German. He worked hard and won his fair share of aerial duels but struggled to make a real impact on the scoresheet. He only managed one shot on target and seemed a bit isolated at times. You can't fault his effort, though.
Christian Pulisic - 7.0: Provided the assist for a big chance and looked lively. He was a constant threat before being substituted. We felt he could have been more involved, but his quality was evident when he got on the ball. A good contribution in his time on the pitch.

Substitutes
Zachary Athekame - 6.5: Came on at halftime and provided an assist almost immediately. Looked steady and composed.
Samuele Ricci - 6.0: Slotted into midfield and kept things ticking over. Had one late shot that went wide.
Christopher Nkunku - 5.5: Didn't have much time to get into the flow of the game. Committed a foul late on.
Santiago Giménez - N/A: Not on long enough to make a significant impact.
David Odogu - N/A: Came on in stoppage time to help see out the win.
Manager
M. Allegri - 7.0: His team showed brilliant attacking flair in the second half to score two quick goals. The substitutions were managed well to see out the game under pressure. He'll be concerned about conceding two goals, but ultimately, it's a win. A tactical victory.

Goalkeeper
Alberto Paleari - 6.0: Conceded three goals, but it's hard to blame him for any of them. He made three saves, including a decent one to deny Rabiot in the first half. His distribution was okay. A tough night to be a goalkeeper against a clinical Milan attack.
Defenders
Saúl Coco - 5.0: It was a really tough night for Coco. We noticed he struggled with Milan's movement and committed a couple of fouls in dangerous areas. He only won one of his five duels, which tells its own story. A performance he'll want to move on from quickly.
Ardian Ismajli - 7.5: Torino's best defender by a mile. He was a rock at the back, making a massive 11 clearances and winning seven of his eight duels. He was dominant in the air and on the ground. Despite conceding three goals, he can hold his head high. An outstanding individual display.
Enzo Ebosse - 6.0: A decent, if unremarkable, performance. He was solid in possession with good pass accuracy. Won most of his duels and drew a couple of fouls. Didn't do much wrong but didn't stand out either.

Midfielders
Matteo Prati - 6.0: Worked hard in the midfield for his 63 minutes. He was tidy on the ball and made a couple of important interceptions. However, he was dribbled past twice and didn't offer much going forward. A battling performance.
Nikola Vlašić - 7.5: A whirlwind of a performance. He scored the penalty with coolness, recovered the ball 10 times, and was involved in everything. On the other hand, he missed a big chance and lost possession 14 times. A chaotic but ultimately effective game from him.
Marcus Pedersen - 5.5: A frustrating game for him. His delivery from wide areas was poor, with only one successful cross from seven attempts. He lost possession 17 times which is far too high. He worked hard but lacked the quality needed in the final third.
Rafa Obrador - 6.5: A creative spark for Torino. He created four chances for his teammates, which was more than anyone on his team. However, his crossing was erratic, and he was loose in possession. A mixed performance of good creativity and frustrating wastefulness.
Gvidas Gineitis - 6.5: Perfect pass accuracy is always impressive. He created two chances and looked composed on the ball. He was a bit lightweight in the tackle, though, and was dribbled past once. A promising display from the midfielder.
Forwards
Giovanni Simeone - 8.5: The best player on the pitch, in our opinion. He was a constant menace, scoring a goal and smartly winning the penalty for the second. His movement and energy were exceptional. Without his contribution, Torino would have been well beaten. An absolutely brilliant performance.
Duván Zapata - 6.0: The captain put in a shift but struggled to make a real impact. He held the ball up well at times but was dispossessed twice. He had one shot on target but never really troubled the Milan defence. Substituted just after the hour mark.
Substitutes
Emirhan Ilkhan - 5.5: Came on and tried to make things happen but his shots were wayward. Picked up a yellow card for a cynical foul.
Ché Adams - 5.5: Replaced Zapata but offered little more. He failed to get into the game.
Cesare Casadei - 6.0: Looked tidy in his cameo but didn't have a major influence on proceedings.
Sandro Kulenovic - N/A: Brought on for the final few minutes.
Manager
R. D'Aversa - 6.5: His team showed incredible fight and spirit to stay in the game. They created good chances and could have perhaps snatched a point. He'll be disappointed with the two-minute collapse after halftime, but proud of the effort his players showed to fight back.
