Al Nassr Player Ratings vs Al Shabab

Check out the Al Nassr player ratings vs Al Shabab.

Goalkeeper

Bento - 6.0: A night of mixed fortunes for Bento. He conceded two goals, but for one of them he was left completely exposed. We noticed his distribution was pretty sharp, completing 86% of his passes. He only had to make one save all game, which tells you more about his defence. It wasn't a heroic performance, but he did what was asked of him without any major errors. A steady, if unspectacular, outing for the Al Nassr keeper.

Defenders

Sultan Al-Ghannam - 5.5: From our perspective, this was a night to forget for Al-Ghannam. He really struggled defensively, winning only two of his nine duels. What stood out to us was how often he was dribbled past; it happened three times. He tried to get forward, whipping in four crosses, but only one found its mark. He was eventually substituted, and it felt like the right call. Just not his day.

Abdulelah Al-Amri - 6.5: A much more solid performance from Al-Amri compared to his defensive partners. He was composed on the ball, with a high pass accuracy, and wasn't afraid to step up. We saw him win all three of his tackles and make six ball recoveries. He was still part of a unit that conceded twice, so it's not a perfect score, but he held his own well under pressure.

Iñigo Martínez - 7.0: This guy looked a class act. His passing from the back was immaculate, with a 92% accuracy and five successful long balls. He was a rock defensively winning most of his duels. He even popped up with a few shots, showing his threat on set pieces. A very complete and commanding performance from the center-back. He really helped settle things down at the back when Al Shabab were pushing.

Ayman Yahya - 6.5: A very industrious and energetic performance from Yahya. He was up and down the flank all game. What we noticed was his impressive duel success rate, winning six of ten battles. He put in three successful tackles and was a willing runner. His final ball could have been better at times, but you can't fault the effort. A solid shift before being subbed off.

Midfielders

Marcelo Brozović - 7.0: The Croatian maestro was his usual self, pulling the strings in midfield. He was the metronome, with 71 touches and an 86% pass completion rate. He wasn't just passing sideways either; he created three chances for his teammates. From our perspective, he controlled the tempo of the game effortlessly. A classy and influential display that was key to their dominance.

Abdullah Al-Khaibari - 5.5: Oh, this was a tough one. His stats look great on paper, especially that 98% pass accuracy. But football is a game of moments, and his moment was a catastrophic error leading to a goal. That one mistake overshadows everything else he did. It's harsh, but those moments define games. He'll be disappointed with that for sure.

Sadio Mané - 7.5: Sadio Mané was electric. He was a nightmare for defenders with his nine dribble attempts and constant movement. He provided the assist for Ronaldo's goal and created four chances in total, including one big chance. He missed a big chance himself, which was a letdown, but his overall contribution was massive. What a livewire.

Abdulrahman Ghareeb - 6.5: He had a really positive impact in his 71 minutes on the pitch. He grabbed an assist and was constantly trying to make things happen. We noticed he was a foul magnet, drawing four of them as defenders struggled to cope with his trickery. He did miss a big chance, but it was an otherwise promising display from the winger.

Forwards

Cristiano Ronaldo - 7.5: The captain delivered. Cristiano Ronaldo got himself on the scoresheet with a composed finish, showing his killer instinct is as sharp as ever. He was a focal point for the attack, linking up play and occupying defenders. He didn't have a ton of chances, but he took the one that mattered. A leader's performance and a crucial goal.

João Félix - 10: Absolutely perfect. There's no other word for it. From our perspective, this was one of the best individual performances we've seen all season in the Pro League. A stunning hat-trick - right foot, header, and a coolly taken penalty. He was simply unplayable. Every time he got the ball, you felt something would happen. The highest-rated player on the pitch by a mile, and a joy to watch.

Substitutes

Nawaf Al-Boushail - N/A: Came on late for Ghareeb.

Salem Al Najdi - N/A: Replaced Yahya for the final few minutes.

Saad Al-Nasser - N/A: Had a brief cameo, replacing Al-Ghannam.

Abdulla Al Hamdan - N/A: Replaced Ronaldo in stoppage time and won the penalty.

Ali Al-Hassan - N/A: Came on for Brozovic to see the game out.

Manager

J. Pinheiro de Jesus - 7.5: His team came to play. Setting them up to be so devastating in attack paid off handsomely with four goals. The decision to let João Félix roam free was a masterstroke. The defense looked a bit vulnerable, conceding two, which he'll want to address. But getting a 4-2 win away from home is a fantastic result, and his tactics worked.

Al Shabab Player Ratings vs Al Nassr

Here are the Al Shabab player ratings vs Al Nassr.

Goalkeeper

Marcelo Grohe - 5.0: A truly miserable evening for the Al Shabab shot-stopper. Conceding four goals is bad enough, but he also gave away the late penalty that sealed his team's fate. He only made a single save throughout the entire match. From our perspective, he looked shaken and couldn't command his area against the onslaught. A performance he'll want to move on from quickly.

Defenders

Ali Al-Bulayhi - 7.0: He gets a high rating mainly for his goal. It was a well-taken shot that gave his team a lifeline. Defensively, he was decent, winning three of his four duels and making a couple of clearances. To score a goal as a defender in a 4-2 defeat shows character. One of the few bright spots for his team's backline.

Wesley Hoedt - 6.0: A warrior's effort in a losing cause. He was throwing himself into tackles, winning all four that he attempted, and made five clearances. However, he was part of a defence that was torn apart time and time again. He battled hard but was ultimately fighting a losing battle against Al Nassr's superior attack.

Mohamed Al-Thani - 5.5: It was a very tough night for the defender. He struggled physically, winning only 40% of his duels. The pace and movement of Mané and Félix seemed too much for him to handle. He looked a step behind the play for most of the game. A difficult learning experience for him.

Saad Balobaid - 6.0: He was in the wars all game. He made three successful tackles and drew four fouls, showing he's not afraid to get stuck in. However, he also committed four fouls himself and picked up a yellow card. It was a chaotic and combative performance where he was stretched to his limits.

Midfielders

Josh Brownhill - 6.5: A tidy and industrious performance in the heart of midfield. He kept the ball moving with an 84% pass accuracy and even tested the keeper with a shot on target. He worked hard to cover ground but was often overrun by the opposition's quality. A decent individual effort in a team that was second-best.

Vincent Sierro - 6.0: He was solid enough during his time on the pitch. He won all of his tackles and was successful in his duels. He tried to get the ball into advanced areas but was subbed off before he could make a real impact on the game. A functional but ultimately forgettable performance.

Hammam Al-Hammami - 7.5: This kid was a livewire. What stood out to us was his dribbling; he completed six successful dribbles and was a constant source of danger. He provided a great assist and was one of the few Al Shabab players who looked capable of creating something out of nothing. A really exciting and positive performance.

Yacine Adli - 6.5: He showed flashes of his quality, creating two chances with some clever passing. His pass completion was high, and he looked comfortable in possession. However, from our perspective, we wanted to see more from him in the final third. He was involved but not decisive enough.

Ali Azaizeh - 6.5: So unlucky not to score, hitting the post with a fine effort. He looked dangerous and full of running during his 78 minutes. He attempted several dribbles and got into good positions. A lively cameo that suggests he has more to offer. You have to feel for him with that woodwork strike.

Forwards

Yannick Carrasco - 8.0: The captain was immense. Yannick Carrasco scored a goal, hit the post, and was his team's main attacking threat all night. He led by example, taking responsibility and driving his team forward. He was a constant menace and deserved more from the game. An outstanding individual display of leadership and skill.

Substitutes

Basil Al-Sayali - N/A: Came on for Sierro with about ten minutes to go.

Abdulaziz Al Othman - N/A: Replaced the lively Ali Azaizeh.

Manager

N. Zekri - 6.0: You have to credit his team's spirit. Going down early, they fought back to score twice and make a game of it. His attacking players looked dangerous. However, the defensive setup was a shambles. Conceding four goals at home is unacceptable, and he was tactically outclassed. The gung-ho approach left them far too open at the back.
