Goalkeeper

Marco Carnesecchi - 7.5: Honestly, he was fantastic. He made three crucial saves, a couple from inside the box, that kept his team in the contest. Without him, Inter could have been out of sight. He couldn't do much about the goal, but his performance was a major positive for Atalanta. Stood tall when his team needed him.

Defenders

Isak Hien - 6.5: A solid, if unspectacular, outing. He made a few important interceptions and clearances. What stood out to us was his comfort on the ball, with a 94% pass accuracy. However, he was part of a backline that was breached and looked stretched at times.

Berat Djimsiti - 4.5: A really tough night for the defender. From our perspective, his error leading to the goal was the defining moment of his game and the match. You simply cannot afford those lapses at this level. He looked rattled after that, and it's a shame because he made 8 clearances otherwise.

Sead Kolasinac - 6.0: A mixed bag for the veteran. He picked up an early yellow card, which seemed to temper his aggression. He was solid enough defensively for the most part, but didn't offer a great deal going forward before being substituted.

Midfielders

Éderson - 8.0: What a player. He was absolutely everywhere for Atalanta and was, in our opinion, their best player by a mile. He won 8 duels, made 3 tackles, and was a bundle of energy in the middle. The only blemish was a missed big chance, but his all-around contribution was immense. He truly drove his team forward.

Marten de Roon - 6.0: The captain put in a shift as always, but he seemed to struggle against Inter's dynamic midfield. He was tidy in possession but was dribbled past three times, which is unlike him.

Nicola Zalewski - 6.5: Showed flashes of what he can do. We noticed he created two chances, including one big one, which was promising. However, his passing was erratic at times, and he lost possession too frequently before being taken off.

Davide Zappacosta - 6.0: Only played the first half. He was tidy and worked hard down the flank but didn't make a significant impact on the game. A fairly standard 45-minute shift before being replaced.

Forwards

Mario Pašalić - 5.5: A very quiet evening for the Croatian. He struggled to get involved in the game, managing only 19 touches in 58 minutes. From our perspective, he was a passenger for much of his time on the pitch. It was no surprise to see him substituted.

Gianluca Scamacca - 5.5: A frustrating performance. He worked hard and battled with the defenders but his finishing touch deserted him. The big chance he missed was a crucial moment. He just couldn't provide the clinical edge his team desperately needed.

Charles De Ketelaere - 7.0: One of Atalanta's brightest sparks in attack. What stood out was his creativity; he created two big chances for his teammates. He was always trying to make things happen and looked dangerous on the ball, completing four dribbles. Just lacked support.

Substitutes

Yunus Musah, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Lorenzo Bernasconi, Lazar Samardzic: The substitutes brought some fresh legs but failed to change the course of the match. Sulemana picked up a booking shortly after coming on, and Samardzic missed a late chance to equalize.

R. Palladino - 6.0: His team was organized and resilient for large periods, but they lacked a cutting edge. The game plan seemed to be to contain Inter and hit them on the break, but the final ball was consistently missing. The defensive error ultimately undid his tactical setup.

Yann Sommer - 6.5: He had a surprisingly quiet game. Atalanta's finishing was wayward, so he wasn't tested often. He did what he had to do with composure and claimed a comfortable clean sheet.

Alessandro Bastoni - 7.0: Another solid defensive display. He made seven clearances and was astute with his positioning. The yellow card was the only minor blot on his copybook. He was composed on the ball and helped build attacks from the back.

Midfielders

Federico Dimarco - 8.0: An outstanding creative force down the left. Before being subbed, he created an incredible four chances, including one big chance. His delivery from wide areas was a constant threat.

Hakan Çalhanoğlu - 8.0: The maestro in midfield. He pulled all the strings for Inter, creating three chances and dictating the tempo of the game. His vision and range of passing were on full display.
