The game between Atletico Madrid vs Celta Vigo ended as a 1-1 draw at the Wanda Metropolitano on Saturday with Diego Simeone’s side being a man down. During the early moments of the game, Pablo Barrios was shown a red card after he fouled Pablo Duran. Things were difficult for the Rojiblancos to cope with as Iago Aspas scored the opener from the spot. In the 81st minute, Alexander Sorloth scored the equaliser to help Atletico Madrid salvage a draw.

Taking on the chance from the spot, Iago Aspas scored his first goal in the Wanda Metropolitano. Alexander Sorloth levelled the score for the Rojiblancos. His right-footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom left corner after an assist from defender Jose Gimenez.

Atletico missed on a chance to take the lead in the lead after Real Madrid dropped points against Osasuna with a 1-1 draw. Barcelona will have an opportunity to build a pressure on the top two of the La Liga when they take on Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.
