Australia took the field in the Suncorp Stadium to play their second friendly against Brazil, with the aim of returning back to winning ways after managing a last-second draw last time around. The Selecao looked better than they did in the first game, as they moved the ball more freely and swiftly, and tried to hurt Australia at every instance.

It took them just five minutes to open the scoring, as a quick play down the right flank found Rayan in the box, who played it back for Gabriel Bontempo, and he laid it nicely for Vanderson. The right back took a touch, and his shot flew into the back of the net.

The Australia national football team responded some time later, but it was magical to witness, as they scored twice in the gap of four minutes. A corner was flown in the 30th minute, and the ball was cleverly flicked in from behind by Alessandro Circati, giving the Socceroos the lead.

Just four minutes later, Connor Metcalfe's screamer crept just under the crossbar, beating Otávio, much to the Brazil national football team's surprise. Carlo Ancelotti's men found their way back into the game just before halftime, as Danilo was brought down in the penalty box by Harry Souttar.

The referee consulted the VAR and pointed to the spot in no time. Raphinha's penalty was guessed correctly by Patrick Beach, but the Brazilian's shot was too powerful to save, restoring parity in the game once again.

Both teams squandered quite a few chances in the second half, but the one highlight was a brawl between Endrick and the Australian captain Harry Souttar, which took some effort from the officials to separate the players.

Endrick took centre stage again as he assisted Bruno Guimarães for a tap-in in the 70th minute, and the joy was clearly visible on the faces of the Brazilian fans. One of the best wingers in the world currently, Vinicius Jr. won a penalty and scored from it in the 80th minute, sealing the deal for the Seleção in this fixture.
