The nail in the coffin came in stoppage time after a handball decision against Jordan saw Marko Arnautovic step up and deliver from the spot to make it 3-1 on the night. The result sees Austria move up to second spot as they now hear up to face Argentina in their next game of the 2026 FIFA World Cup which is scheduled to take place in United States, Canada and Mexico.
