Summary
This Eredivisie clash between AZ Alkmaar and Feyenoord had everything you could ask for. It was a chaotic, end-to-end spectacle that ultimately finished in a breathtaking 3-3 draw. I'm honestly still trying to process everything that happened in this incredible match.
From our perspective, the game swung on moments of individual brilliance and sheer madness. AZ looked sharp from the off, and Ro-Zangelo Daal's opening goal was a thing of absolute beauty. But Feyenoord are a resilient side, and they clawed their way back into it, earning a penalty that Sem Steijn calmly dispatched. The second half was even more frantic and unpredictable.
The hosts retook the lead through Denso Kasius, sparking wild celebrations. But the visitors came roaring back with a vengeance. Goals from the outstanding Jordan Bos and a cool finish from Anis Hadj Moussa incredibly put Feyenoord 3-2 up. Then came the chaos a red card for Anel Ahmedhodzic and a last-gasp penalty, converted by Mexx Meerdink in the 98th minute, stole a point for AZ. It felt like a classic heavyweight boxing match where both fighters simply refused to go down.

Here are the AZ Alkmaar Player Ratings vs Feyenoord
Goalkeeper
Rome Jayden Owusu-Oduro - 6.0: A really difficult day for the young keeper. He conceded three goals and while he wasn't directly at fault for any of them, he couldn't produce a game-changing save. His distribution was a bit hit-and-miss, losing possession 10 times. He did recover the ball 8 times but this was a tough outing.
Defenders
Wouter Goes - 6.0: A very mixed performance from the center-back. He made some important blocks and clearances which was great to see. However, he gave away the penalty with a handball which was a clumsy moment. He also picked up a yellow card and seemed to struggle with Feyenoord's movement. A real learning curve for him.
Alexandre Penetra - 6.0: He looked busy and made an impressive seven clearances. But he was also part of a defense that shipped three goals. He received a yellow card late in the first half and was caught offside in a crucial moment at the end. At times he looked overwhelmed by the relentless Feyenoord attack.
Denso Kasius - 7.5: Scored a fantastic goal to put his team ahead, showing great composure. He was a willing runner down the right flank, although an error leading to a shot slightly blemishes his performance. He was a threat but also lost the ball a few too many times for my liking before being subbed.
Mees de Wit - 7.0: We noticed he was probably the most solid member of the AZ backline. He won most of his duels and made six vital clearances. He stuck to his defensive duties diligently. He didn't offer a huge amount going forward but he did his primary job well, which is all you can ask for in a game this chaotic.

Midfielders
Jordy Clasie - 6.5: The captain put in a real shift in the middle of the park. He battled hard, recycled possession, and even tested the keeper once. He did pick up a yellow card for a necessary tactical foul. He led by example with his work rate before his substitution.
Sven Mijnans - 7.0: What stood out to us was his assist for the opening goal; it was a lovely piece of play. He was a creative spark in the first half, always looking to make things happen. His influence faded a bit as the game went on, and his substitution was understandable.
Kees Smit - 6.0: This felt like a tough learning experience for the youngster in a high-intensity match. He worked his socks off and showed some nice touches but lost possession 16 times. He struggled to impose himself against a very strong Feyenoord midfield but the effort was there.
Forwards
Ibrahim Sadiq - 5.5: A day to forget for the winger. He was completely anonymous in the first half. He struggled to get into the game, received a yellow card, and it was no surprise to see him hooked at the break. He just couldn't make an impact.
Ro-Zangelo Daal - 8.0: My highest-rated player for AZ. That opening goal was an absolute screamer from outside the box. He was a livewire throughout his time on the pitch, buzzing with confidence and energy. He was AZ's most dangerous attacker by a mile and it was a shame to see him substituted.
Mexx Meerdink - 7.0: A tale of two halves for the striker. He was poor in open play, losing the majority of his duels and giving away fouls. However, he delivered when it mattered most. He provided a clever assist for the second goal and then showed nerves of steel to slot home the 98th-minute penalty to rescue a point. A hero in the end.

Substitutes
Weslley Patati - 7.0: Came on at halftime and won the crucial late penalty. A game-changing contribution.
Peer Koopmeiners - 6.0: Had one speculative shot but didn't influence the game much.
Isak Jensen - N/A: Didn't have enough time to make an impact.
Lequincio Zeefuik - N/A: Brought on late to add presence.
Matej Sín - N/A: Late substitution with little time to impress.
Manager
M. Martens - 7.0: His team showed incredible heart and fight to snatch a draw from the jaws of defeat. While his defense looked vulnerable, his attacking setup caused problems. His substitutions, particularly bringing on the player who won the penalty, proved to be a masterstroke.

Goalkeeper
Timon Wellenreuther - 6.0: It's tough to be too critical of a keeper who concedes three goals of that quality. Two were brilliant strikes and the other was a penalty. He made a good save to deny Clasie in the second half. Like his opposite number, he was left very exposed.
Defenders
Tsuyoshi Watanabe - 6.5: From our perspective, he was composed and solid for large parts of the game. He won seven of his eight duels and was a calming presence. It's just hard to give a higher rating when your team concedes three times. A decent individual performance in a chaotic match.
Jordan Bos - 8.5: My man of the match. What a performance this was. He scored an absolute thunderbolt of a goal from distance. He was defensively sound, winning his tackles, and was a constant menace going forward, creating two clear chances. An all-action display.
Anel Ahmedhodzic - 4.0: A complete disaster of a performance. He was a walking liability from start to finish. He gave away silly fouls, looked off the pace, and then got himself sent off with a second yellow card. He let his teammates and his manager down badly.
Givairo Read - 5.5: A quiet outing for the right-back. He struggled in his duels, winning only one of five. He didn't make any glaring errors, but he also didn't provide the same attacking thrust or defensive security as Bos on the opposite flank.

Midfielders
Quinten Timber - 7.5: A real powerhouse in midfield. He was everywhere, breaking up play and driving his team forward. He won 100% of his five tackles, which is an incredible statistic. His energy and aggression set the tone for Feyenoord's dominance in the middle.
Sem Steijn - 7.5: A true captain's display. He was so cool from the penalty spot to level the scores. Then he provided the crucial assist for what looked like the winning goal. He was a constant threat with six shots, always looking to make something happen.
Anis Hadj Moussa - 8.0: Absolutely electric. He scored a beautifully taken goal that should have been the winner. He created four chances, including one big chance, and had the AZ defenders on toast with his dribbling. A joy to watch before he was subbed off.
Aymen Sliti - 6.0: He was neat and tidy in possession without ever really grabbing the game by the scruff of the neck. He was involved in some decent build-up play but lacked the final product. A steady, if unspectacular, performance before being substituted.
Luciano Valente - 7.0: A very classy operator in midfield. He had an excellent 91% pass accuracy and was very secure on the ball. He chipped in with an assist and created another chance. He kept the game ticking over for Feyenoord with his intelligence.
Forwards
Ayase Ueda - 6.5: He put in a tremendous amount of work for the team. He won a surprising number of aerial duels and his hold-up play was effective. However, he lacked that killer instinct in front of goal, missing a decent headed chance. A selfless performance but strikers are judged on goals.
Substitutes
Jaden Slory - 4.5: Came on and gave away the decisive late penalty. A calamitous cameo.
Bart Nieuwkoop - 6.0: Brought on to shore things up and promptly got a yellow card.
Oussama Targhalline - N/A: Not on long enough to rate.
Jan Plug - N/A: A late appearance to waste time.
Gijs Smal - N/A: Came on in the final moments.
Manager
R. van Persie - 6.5: His team played some breathtaking attacking football and looked destined for a brilliant away win. He'll be furious with the lack of discipline that saw them go down to 10 men and the defensive lapse that led to the late penalty. This will feel like a loss for him and his squad.
