After beating Valencia 6-0 in their last La Liga match and securing a victory in their UEFA Champions League opener against Newcastle United, FC Barcelona faced Getafe and won convincingly with a three-goal margin. From the start, the game seemed to favor the Catalan side, as Getafe struggled to create scoring opportunities. Joan García - 7.5: Had a relatively quiet evening, which is a testament to his team's dominance. What stood out to us was his crucial save from a Domingos Duarte header. His distribution was excellent, completing 96% of his passes. He looked calm and composed whenever called upon. A clean sheet and a solid performance.

Defenders

Jules Koundé - 8.5: An absolute monster at the back and going forward. He won an incredible 12 out of 16 duels. From our perspective, he was everywhere on that right flank. He drew six fouls, constantly causing problems for the opposition. His defensive work was flawless, and he provided a constant attacking outlet. What a player.

Andreas Christensen - 7.0: A solid and reliable performance from the Dane. He made five clearances and won most of his aerial battles. Picked up a yellow card but was otherwise very disciplined. He kept things simple and effective at the heart of the defense. His partnership with Eric García looked very comfortable.

Eric García - 8.0: We were really impressed by his performance. He was a ball-playing machine, completing 98 passes. His reading of the game was superb, with three interceptions and nine recoveries. He initiated many attacks from the back, with 22 passes into the final third. A very composed and intelligent display.

Gerard Martín - 7.5: A very promising performance from the full-back. He was a creative force, providing three key passes. He looked comfortable on the ball and supported the attack well. Defensively, he was solid, winning most of his duels before being substituted late on. A really energetic display down the left.

Midfielders

Frenkie de Jong - 7.0: Controlled the tempo of the game beautifully for the hour he was on the pitch. He was the metronome in midfield, linking defense and attack seamlessly. His passing was crisp and accurate as always. We noticed he was always looking for a forward pass to break the lines. A typical classy performance before his substitution.

Pedri - 8.5: A midfield masterclass. Pedri was simply magical to watch. He created four chances, including two big ones. His vision and weight of pass are on another level. He completed 91 passes and was the creative hub for everything good Barcelona did. He made the game look so easy, just effortlessly gliding past players.

Dani Olmo - 8.5: What a dynamic performance. He scored a goal and provided an assist for Ferran Torres' opener. He was a constant threat with his movement and shooting from distance. From our perspective, his link-up play was outstanding. He created three chances and was always involved in the most dangerous attacks. An all-action display.

Forwards

Raphinha - 6.5: A mixed bag for the Brazilian. He provided a brilliant assist for the second goal on a fast break. However, he was substituted at halftime after picking up a yellow card. We felt he was a bit wasteful in possession at times. He showed flashes of his quality but lacked consistency during his 45 minutes.

Robert Lewandowski - 6.0: A frustrating night for the Polish striker. He missed a big chance in the first half that you'd expect him to bury. He was caught offside a couple of times and seemed just a yard off the pace. He only had 21 touches in 90 minutes, which shows his lack of involvement. A quiet game by his high standards.

Ferran Torres - 9.0: The highest-rated player and our man of the match. He was absolutely electric. Scored two fantastic goals and was unlucky not to get a hat-trick, hitting the woodwork. His movement was a nightmare for the Getafe defense. He played with a swagger and confidence that was brilliant to see. Substituted after an hour, his job was well and truly done.

Fermín López - 6.5: Came on and showed some nice touches. Looked lively and had a shot on goal.

He was left completely exposed by his defense for the goals. His distribution was poor, but he did his primary job of shot-stopping reasonably well under immense pressure.

Defenders

Kiko Femenía - 5.5: He had a torrid time trying to contain Barcelona's left side. He was dribbled past twice and struggled to make an impact. He battled hard, making three tackles, but was part of a defensive unit that was all at sea. A difficult night for the experienced full-back.

Djené - 5.0: A really poor performance from the captain. He was rash, committed two fouls, and picked up a yellow card. What stood out to us was his substitution at halftime, which tells you everything you need to know. He looked off the pace and couldn't handle the movement of Barca's attackers.

Domingos Duarte - 6.0: Probably the best of a bad bunch at the back. He made five clearances and four interceptions, reading the danger well at times. He even forced a good save from a header. However, he was still part of a defense that conceded three goals and looked incredibly vulnerable.

Abdel Abqar - 5.5: He struggled massively against the likes of Ferran Torres. He only won 1 of his 4 tackle attempts and picked up a yellow card for a clumsy challenge. He made a couple of interceptions but lost possession frequently. A learning experience for the defender against top-quality opposition.

Diego Rico - 6.0: He fought hard, winning 10 of his 15 duels. He made an impressive five tackles and three interceptions. Despite his personal effort, he was constantly under pressure and couldn't stem the tide of FC Barcelona attacks down his flank. A battling performance in a losing cause.

Midfielders

Luis Milla - 5.5: He was completely overrun in midfield. While he created one chance, he struggled to get on the ball and influence the game. He lost possession 14 times and couldn't cope with the passing and movement of Pedri and de Jong. He worked hard but was outclassed.

Mario Martín - 5.0: A very tough 45 minutes for the midfielder. He picked up a yellow card within three minutes and committed another foul. He was bypassed easily in the middle of the park. It was no surprise to see him substituted at halftime. A performance he'll want to forget quickly.

Mauro Arambarri - 6.0: He recovered the ball eight times, showing his battling qualities. However, he offered very little going forward. He was tidy in possession but played it too safe. He couldn't provide the defensive shield his backline desperately needed. An industrious but ultimately ineffective performance.

Forwards

Adrián Liso - 5.5: He was isolated for most of the match. He drew three fouls, trying to hold the ball up, but that was about it. He lost possession 10 times and had little to no service. A thankless task for the forward who was left to feed on scraps. Picked up a yellow for his troubles.

Borja Mayoral - 5.0: Completely anonymous. He only had 11 touches before being hooked at halftime. He was dispossessed twice and offered no threat whatsoever. From our perspective, he looked lost and was unable to make any impact on the game. A very disappointing showing.
