Barcelona 3-0 Getafe Player Ratings: Clinical Performance at Spotify Camp Nou Sees The Blaugranas Cruise Past Timid Getafe

Barcelona continued their fine form in La Liga with a dominant performance against Madrid-based club Getafe, keeping their position at the top of the table intact and away from other title contenders such as Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid.

The Blaugranas surely had the home advantage with them, but it was the beautiful football once again that not only earned the three points but also soothed every fan's heart.

It took FC Barcelona just a couple of the initial minutes to take the lead, as Anthony Gordon picked up the ball just a few metres away from the penalty box and skipped past three defenders before lashing out a shot, which took a wicked deflection and left David Soria with little room for a save.

Zaid Abner Romero committed a horrendous mistake while playing it out from the back, as he took on more players than he could and gave it away in his own box to Gabriel Jesus. The new signing found the back of the net with relative ease, leaving Soria flat-footed once again in the 30th minute.

The goal was the result of Barcelona's effective pressing, which has caused problems for a lot of teams in Europe in recent years. Hansi Flick's men controlled the game in the second half once again, without letting anything near their penalty box.

Jules Koundé scored Barca's third goal of the night when Lamine Yamal's cross found him perfectly inside the box, and the Frenchman just had to guide the ball past Soria'a's dive.
