FC Bayern München Player Ratings vs VfL Wolfsburg

Goalkeeper

Manuel Neuer - 7.0: Conceded an early goal but had little to do with it. Made a couple of important saves when called upon, particularly in the second half. What stood out to us was his calmness and distribution. He commanded his box well and initiated attacks with his precise long balls.

Defenders

Konrad Laimer - 7.5: A very energetic performance on the flank. He provided an assist for Michael Olise's first goal and was a constant threat going forward. Defensively he was sound, although he wasn't tested much. We noticed his tireless running which stretched the Wolfsburg defence.

Dayot Upamecano - 6.5: A fairly quiet evening for the Frenchman before he was substituted. He was strong in his duels and comfortable on the ball. The game was largely played ahead of him, so he wasn't forced into any heroic defending. A steady, if unspectacular, outing.

Jonathan Tah - 8.0: Imperious at the back. Grabbed a superb assist, which is a bonus for a centre-back. His passing range was exceptional, with a 94% accuracy. He was a rock, winning his duels and blocking shots. A really complete performance from him.

Josip Stanisic - 7.0: A reliable and efficient display. He didn't do anything flashy but performed his duties with minimal fuss. He was positionally sound and supported the attack when needed. A player the manager can clearly trust to do a job.

Midfielders

Aleksandar Pavlovic - 7.0: Controlled the midfield brilliantly before being taken off. His 95% pass accuracy tells the story of his composure. He recycled possession effectively and laid the foundation for the attackers to shine. A very mature performance for his age.

Tom Bischof - 7.5: He was everywhere. A real engine in the midfield, linking defense to attack. Created a couple of chances and his passing was crisp. What stood out was his work rate; he never stopped running and contributed on both ends.

Luis Díaz - 9.0: Absolutely electric. Scored a goal and provided two assists in a devastating display. His movement and creativity were too much for Wolfsburg to handle. He was a constant menace, and his connection with the other forwards was telepathic. A joy to watch.

Michael Olise - 10: A perfect performance. Two goals, one assist, and even hit the post. He was the conductor of this attacking orchestra. Every time he got the ball, you felt something was going to happen. From our perspective, this was one of the best individual displays we've seen this season.

Lennart Karl - 6.0: Had a decent first half and got into a great scoring position but missed a big chance. He looked lively but was sacrificed early in the second half. Not a bad performance, but overshadowed by his attacking peers.

Forwards

Harry Kane - 8.5: Did what Harry Kane does. Dropped deep, linked play, scored a goal, and provided an assist. His intelligence on the pitch is second to none. He was instrumental in the build-up to several goals, even when he wasn't the one scoring or assisting.

Substitutes

Raphaël Guerreiro - 7.5: Came on and immediately made an impact, scoring a goal. Looked sharp and dangerous.

Leon Goretzka - 7.5: Another substitute who got on the scoresheet. Added power and drive to the midfield in the closing stages.

Hiroki Ito - 6.5: Slotted in seamlessly at the back when the game was already won.

Wisdom Mike - N/A: Didn't have enough time to make a significant impact.

Felipe Chávez - N/A: Came on late but provided a cross for a chance.

Manager

V. Kompany - 9.0: His game plan worked to perfection. He set his team up to be ruthless and they delivered in spades. The substitutions were effective, and his side never took their foot off the gas. A tactical masterclass.

VfL Wolfsburg Player Ratings vs FC Bayern München

Goalkeeper

Kamil Grabara - 2.0: An absolute nightmare. He conceded eight goals. While he made four saves, he looked shell-shocked and helpless for most of the match. A day he will want to forget immediately. Just a brutal experience for any keeper.

Defenders

Kilian Fischer - 3.0: His day started with a calamitous own goal and it never really got better. He was tormented by Bayern's attackers and seemed completely out of his depth. A very difficult evening for the defender.

Konstantinos Koulierakis - 4.0: He made eight clearances, but that just shows how much pressure he was under. He was part of a defensive unit that was completely dismantled. Fought hard but was ultimately overwhelmed by the sheer quality of the opposition.

Moritz Jenz - 2.5: Another defender who scored an own goal. His confidence evaporated after that moment. He struggled to cope with the movement of Harry Kane and the other forwards. A truly miserable performance.

Saël Kumbedi - 3.5: Had a torrid time on the flank. He was dribbled past with ease and offered little protection. From our perspective, he looked lost and was constantly chasing shadows. The pace and trickery of Bayern were simply too much.

Midfielders

Maximilian Arnold - 5.0: The captain tried to show some leadership and fight. He won a decent number of duels, but the midfield battle was comprehensively lost. He was chasing ghosts for large parts of the game, unable to stem the tide.

Mattias Svanberg - 4.5: Largely anonymous and ineffective before being substituted. Picked up a yellow card and lost possession too easily. He failed to make any kind of impact on the proceedings.

Lovro Majer - 5.5: Provided the assist for his team's only goal, which was a nice moment of quality. However, he faded badly as the game went on. He couldn't get a foothold in the match to showcase his creative abilities.

Christian Eriksen - 4.0: We were disappointed by his performance. He was unable to dictate play or create meaningful chances. The game passed him by, and he looked a step off the pace required for this level of opposition.

Patrick Wimmer - 4.0: Lost possession 13 times and was completely ineffective. He worked hard but lacked the quality to trouble the Bayern defence. Substituted after 64 minutes of struggle.

Forwards

Dzenan Pejcinovic - 6.0: The only player in a Wolfsburg shirt who can hold his head high. He took his goal well and provided a rare moment of joy for the traveling fans. He was isolated for most of the game but kept fighting.

Substitutes

Yannick Gerhardt - 5.0: Came on into a chaotic game and couldn't change its course.

Adam Daghim - 5.0: Had little opportunity to influence the game.

Kevin Paredes - 5.5: At least forced a good save from Manuel Neuer .

Denis Vavro - N/A: Not enough time to rate.

Pharell Hensel - N/A: Not enough time to rate.

Manager

D. Bauer - 2.0: His team looked tactically naive and unprepared for Bayern's intensity. They collapsed completely after conceding the second goal. He had no answers from the touchline as his team was humiliated.
