Goalkeeper

Mathias Dyngeland - 5.0: A really tough night for the Brann keeper. While he made four saves, some of which were decent stops, conceding three goals is never good. The damning stat is the error that led to a goal. From our perspective, he looked shaky and failed to command his box with authority, which contributed to the defensive chaos.

Defenders

Fredrik Pallesen Knudsen - 6.0: The captain had a busy evening trying to hold the backline together. He won an impressive number of his duels and made a few important clearances. However, being part of a defense that shipped three goals means the performance can't be rated too highly. A mixed bag for the skipper.

Nana Kwame Boakye - 5.5: A difficult outing for the defender. He was physically present, winning 8 duels, but he also lost possession far too many times. We noticed he struggled with the movement of Midtjylland's attackers and was part of a defensive unit that looked disjointed for large periods of the game.

V. Dragsnes - 6.5: Played for 76 minutes and was a solid contributor down the left. He created a big chance and even had a shot on target himself. Defensively, he was sound enough, making five ball recoveries before being substituted. A decent shift overall.

Denzel De Roeve - 7.5: One of Brann's brightest sparks. He was a creative force down the right flank, providing the assist for the first goal and creating a staggering five chances in total. He also did his defensive work, making 10 ball recoveries and winning three tackles. A very impressive and energetic performance.

Midfielders

Emil Kornvig - 7.0: A whirlwind of a performance. He was everywhere, engaging in 31 duels which is an incredible number. He showed nerves of steel to convert his penalty to make it 2-2. However, he also lost possession 30 times, which was frustrating to watch. A chaotic but ultimately effective game.

Jacob Lungi Sørensen - 7.0: A real warrior in the middle of the park. He won a remarkable 14 duels and was a constant disruptive presence for the opposition. His passing could have been tidier, but his defensive contribution was immense. What stood out to us was his sheer tenacity and work rate.

Thore Pedersen - 6.5: He was a creative outlet during his 76 minutes on the pitch, creating two chances for his teammates. He was successful in all his dribble attempts and looked tidy on the ball. A solid, if unspectacular, performance before he was subbed off.

Markus Haaland - 5.5: A quiet game for the young midfielder who was substituted after 59 minutes. He struggled to impose himself on the match, losing the ball frequently and completing only 38% of his passes. He worked hard but couldn't find his rhythm.

Forwards

Ulrik Mathisen - 5.0: A frustrating night for the attacker. He missed a big chance and was caught offside twice. He just couldn't seem to get things right in the final third. From our perspective, his movement was okay, but his execution was lacking when it mattered most.

Noah Holm - 7.5: He led the line well and was a constant handful for the Midtjylland defenders. He took his goal brilliantly with a well-placed header and was a focal point for attacks, winning 10 duels. He missed a couple of other chances but was a real threat throughout.

Substitutes

Felix Myhre - 6.5: Came on for Haaland and provided more energy and forward thrust in midfield. He was involved in several attacking moves late in the game.

Joachim Soltvedt - 6.5: Looked dangerous after coming on, with his left foot causing problems from shots and crosses.

Bård Finne - 6.0: Added another attacking body late on and had a decent chance to score, but couldn't quite convert.

Manager

F. Alexandersson - 7.0: His team showed incredible heart and fight to come from behind twice. The tactical setup was perhaps too open, leading to a chaotic game, but you cannot fault the spirit he has instilled in his players. His substitutions also made a positive impact on the game.

Elías Ólafsson - 8.5: Despite conceding three goals, Ólafsson was phenomenal. He made an incredible eight saves, many of which were top-class stops to deny clear goalscoring opportunities. Without him, Midtjylland would have lost this game comfortably. An outstanding individual display between the sticks.

Defenders

Han-beom Lee - 6.5: A solid if unspectacular performance. He was strong in the air and made a number of crucial clearances. He did have a header saved that could have been a goal, but he was part of a defense that ultimately couldn't hold on to a lead.

Martin Erlić - 9.0: An absolutely colossal performance from the central defender, and our man of the match. To score two goals in a European away game is remarkable for any player, let alone a centre-back. His first was a poacher's header from a corner, and his second was a clinical finish. What stood out to us was his sheer will to win, though his defense couldn't quite see out the victory.

Mads Bech Sørensen - 5.5: A game to forget for the captain. He was dominant in the air, winning 6 aerial duels, but his error leading to a shot and conceding a penalty were huge negative moments. Those mistakes overshadowed the rest of his defensive work.

Victor Bak - 5.0: He really struggled. He won only 20% of his aerial duels and was often caught out of position. He seemed to have a hard time dealing with Brann's wide players and looked like a weak link in the backline.

Midfielders

Philip Billing - 7.5: He was brilliant for the 52 minutes he was on the pitch. He provided the assist for the opening goal and was a dominant physical presence, winning 13 duels. It was a huge blow for Midtjylland when he went off injured; they lost a lot of control in midfield after his departure.

Valdemar Byskov - 6.0: Had some bright moments, including a good shot on target that forced a save. However, he struggled to consistently impact the game and was substituted just after the hour mark. A decent but fleeting contribution.

Denil Castillo - 6.0: A very busy but inefficient performance. He attempted seven dribbles but lost possession 19 times. He worked hard and recovered the ball five times, but his final product was often lacking. He needed more composure.

Aral Şimşir - 6.5: Showed flashes of his quality, creating a couple of chances and forcing a good save with a shot from distance. He was a creative spark but drifted in and out of the game too much before being substituted.

Forwards

Gue-sung Cho - 4.5: A very poor performance from the striker. He was anonymous for large parts of the game and offered little threat. To top it off, he conceded a penalty for a clumsy handball. A night he will want to move on from quickly.

Júnior Brumado - 7.5: A powerful performance up front. He took his goal superbly with a powerful finish and was a nightmare for defenders in the air, winning 8 aerial duels. He was a constant physical presence and a key part of his team's attack.

Substitutes

Pedro Bravo - 6.0: Came on for the injured Billing and struggled to replicate his influence, picking up a foul shortly after his introduction.

Darío Osorio - 5.5: Was brought on to provide a spark but ended up giving away fouls and picking up a yellow card. Not the impact the manager would have wanted.

Edward Chilufya - N/A: Came on for the final few minutes with little time to make an impact.

Manager

M. Tullberg - 6.0: His team scored three goals away from home, which is a huge positive. However, his side's inability to hold a lead on two separate occasions points to tactical naivety or a lack of game management. He will be frustrated to leave with only a draw after being ahead so late in the game.
