Cagliari 1-1 Juventus Player Ratings: Kolo Muani Saves The Day For Old Lady As Elia Caprile Proves To Be Cagliari's Hero

Luciano Spalletti's Juventus traveled to Unipol Domus to face Cagliari on matchday 6 of Serie A 2026/27. The Old Lady didn't get off to a flying start in the first half, falling behind after a goal from Daniel Maldini.

The ball ping-ponged its way into the box after several deflections from the Juventus defenders, falling at the feet of Paul Mendy, who laid it off for Maldini to slot home in the 20th minute. Despite hogging a massive 72% possession, Juventus could only manage just one shot on target in the first half.

Cagliari relied on playing on the counter in the second half, as Juventus tried to break the rigid defense with every passing sequence but just couldn't find a way out. Guglielmo Vicario made an exceptional double save in the 59th minute to keep the score to 1-0, although the flag for offside was up anyways.

Juventus did get their equalizer in the 81st minute, as Randal Kolo Muani headed in from a Kerim Alajbegović cross to make things interesting for the last nine minutes. In the end, the spoils were shared, with Elia Caprile of Cagliari putting on a show with 9 huge saves in this game.
