Barcelona returned with one point after drawing 3-3 against Club Brugge in a high-scoring Champions League game at the Jan Breydel Stadium in Bruges on November 5, 2025.

Barcelona travelled to Belgium on the back of a commanding La Liga win over Elche. The Catalan giants made a disastrous start to the away Champions League fixture, with Tresoldi putting Club Brugge in front in the 5th minute. Barcelona bounced back soon through Ferran Torres, who took only a minute to equalise for the visitors.

As Barcelona started to gain momentum, the home unit once again took the lead. This time, it was Carlos Forbs, who struck for Club Brugge. Barcelona made some remarkable efforts in the first half but were unable to turn the tide as the Club Brugge vs Barcelona score remained 2-1 at the first-half whistle. The Spanish champions were denied by the post twice, with Lamine Yamal showing glimpses of his A-game. Marcus Rashford also appeared in good form and attempted a few shots, but couldn't make them count.

Club Brugge started the second half with the same intensity. They found a great opportunity to increase the lead, but the Barcelona goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny stood tall. Barcelona certainly missed the presence of their star midfielder, Pedri, who remains sidelined with an injury. Yamal looked exceptional on the right wing and created several chances for Barcelona in the second half. Barcelona were denied by the post for the third time in the 59th minute, and this time, it was Eric Garcia who took the shot.

Yamal finally brought Barcelona back into the contest with a magical finish. The 18-year-old toyed with the Club Brugge defense before flicking the ball into the net. Club Brugge, however, were in no mood to back down. Just five minutes after Yamal’s goal, Carlos Forbs completed his brace with a one-on-one finish to put his team in front once again in the dramatic UCL night. When the match was slipping away from Barcelona, Yamal once again produced magic, forcing an own goal to make it 3-3.
