Walter Benítez - 5.5: We noticed he had very little to do in the first half. He was left exposed for both of KuPS's quick-fire goals. He made no official saves but did punch a ball clear. A quiet and ultimately frustrating night for the keeper.

Defenders

Jaydee Canvot - 6.0: A mixed bag from the defender. He had a lot of touches and his passing was mostly accurate. However, from our perspective, he looked vulnerable when KuPS attacked in the second half. He was dribbled past twice and lost a few key duels.

George King - 6.0: A decent, if unspectacular, performance before being substituted. He was solid enough in possession, winning most of his duels. Didn't make any major errors but also didn't impose himself on the game. An average display.

Jefferson Lerma - 6.0: The captain had a steady game before his withdrawal. He made four clearances and was tidy with his passing. His experience was visible on the pitch. His substitution seemed more tactical than performance-related. He wasn't at fault for the goals.

Midfielders

Borna Sosa - 5.0: This was a performance to forget for Sosa. He picked up a yellow card just two minutes into the match. He struggled to make an impact and was often a passenger. It was no surprise to see him substituted after the hour mark.

Joel Drakes-Thomas - 7.5: He was a creative force, creating two big chances for his teammates. He was also excellent with his crossing, completing two of them. His dribbling was a constant threat down the flank. A key contributor to the Palace attack.

Tyrick Mitchell - 6.5: Came on and provided more defensive stability and an attacking outlet. He even set up a blocked shot with a cross.
