David Doudera opened the scoring in just the fifth minute, signalling the beginning of a long evening for the visitors. The Czechs moved the ball with speed, precision, and confidence, repeatedly slicing through Gibraltar’s defensive lines and creating chances at will.
The goals kept coming as the Czech attack showcased its depth and efficiency, maintaining pressure and refusing to let up even with the match effectively decided early on. Gibraltar, despite their effort and determination, found themselves overwhelmed by the pace and physicality of their opponents and were forced to defend for much of the game.
For the Czech Republic, the emphatic victory serves as a major confidence boost and a clear demonstration of their attacking capabilities. For Gibraltar, it was a humbling but hard-fought outing against a superior side. Overall, the contest proved entirely one-sided, with the hosts firmly in control from the opening whistle.

Goalkeeper
Matej Kovar - 6.5: Honestly, he could have brought a book to read. Kovar had virtually nothing to do all game as Gibraltar failed to register a single shot on target. We noticed his distribution was neat and tidy, completing 19 of his 20 passes. It's tough to rate a keeper who wasn't tested, but he did everything required of him without any fuss. A spectator for the most part.
Defenders
Robin Hranac - 7.5: A very solid performance at the back, capped with a goal. Hranac was untroubled defensively and showed great composure on the ball with 98% pass accuracy. He popped up in the right place at the right time to bundle home the sixth goal from a corner. What stood out was his efficiency, though he did commit a few unnecessary fouls in the second half. Overall, a good day's work.
Vladimír Coufal - 9.5: Absolutely outstanding. Our man of the match without a doubt. From our perspective, he was the engine of the team, bombing up and down the right flank with incredible energy. He scored a goal, provided an assist, created four chances, and was a constant threat. His 118 touches show just how involved he was. A truly dominant performance from the right-back.
David Jurásek - 7.0: A very active and energetic display on the left. Jurásek was always looking to get forward, putting in five crosses and creating two chances. However, his final product was a bit mixed, and he was sometimes wasteful in possession. He had a couple of shots off target, showing his intent. A good outlet for the team but lacked the clinical edge of his teammates.
Jaroslav Zelený - 8.0: An excellent 68-minute shift from the defender. He was a creative force from the back, providing two assists and creating a big chance. Defensively he was sound, winning five of his six duels and making some key interceptions and clearances. We were surprised to see him taken off, as he was having a great game. His contribution was crucial in the first-half onslaught.

Midfielders
Adam Karabec - 8.5: What stood out to us was his creativity and eye for a pass. Karabec was a livewire in the midfield, pulling the strings and constantly probing the Gibraltar defence. He created four key passes and delivered some brilliant crosses. He deservedly got on the scoresheet with a well-taken goal, though we felt he should have scored another. A performance full of flair and intelligence.
Patrik Schick - 5.5: A deeply frustrating night for the star striker. It just wasn't his day. Schick had several opportunities to score, including two big chances, but his finishing was uncharacteristically poor. He even hit the woodwork in the second half, which summed up his luck. From our perspective, he seemed to be trying too hard at times. A disappointing outing despite his team's big win.
David Doudera - 9.0: A sensational performance. He set the tone with a goal in the opening five minutes and didn't look back. Doudera was a nightmare for the Gibraltar defence, contributing an assist and creating three big chances. His movement and link-up play were top-notch. He was one of the highest-rated players on the pitch and it's easy to see why. A joy to watch.
Michal Beran - 7.0: A tidy and effective performance in his 57 minutes on the pitch. Beran kept the play ticking over in midfield, playing a key role in recycling possession and starting attacks. He didn't do anything spectacular, but he didn't need to. He performed his role quietly and efficiently before being substituted. A solid, if unsung, contributor.
Tomáš Souček - 8.0: The captain led by example. Souček was a commanding presence in the middle of the park, breaking up play and driving his team forward. He capped his performance with a classic header, showcasing his aerial prowess. He won five of his six duels and made three interceptions. His leadership was evident throughout his time on the pitch.
Forwards
Tomas Chory - 9.0: What an impact in just 58 minutes. Chory was simply unplayable. He scored a goal and provided two assists, and created five chances in total. His physical presence and intelligent movement caused all sorts of problems for the opposition. We were honestly shocked when he was substituted, as he was on track for a hat-trick of assists.

Substitutes
Krystof Danek - 6.0: Came on and had a shot blocked but couldn't make a telling impact. The game was already won.
Lukás Cerv - 6.5: Looked lively and drew a foul in a dangerous area. Kept the pressure on.
Stepán Chaloupek - 6.0: Slotted into the defence with ease. Had very little to do.
Michal Sadílek - 6.0: Had one wayward shot from distance. The tempo had dropped by the time he came on.
Mojmír Chytil - N/A: Came on for the final few minutes with the game long over.

Gibraltar Player Ratings vs Czech Republic

Goalkeeper
Jaylan Hankins - 4.5: A truly thankless task for the Gibraltar keeper. He conceded six goals, but it could have been more without his four saves. His distribution was a real problem, with only 30% pass accuracy, often putting his team under more pressure. What stood out to us were a couple of decent saves inside the box, but he was ultimately left completely exposed by his defence.
Defenders
Kai Mauro - 4.0: A night to forget. He was part of a defence that was torn to shreds from start to finish. He lost possession 16 times and was dribbled past twice. He made a few clearances and tackles but was fighting a losing battle against a superior attacking force. A very difficult evening.
Ethan Jolley - 4.0: Similar to his defensive partners, Jolley was completely overwhelmed. He struggled to cope with the movement and pace of the Czech attackers. He lost possession 13 times and was part of a backline that conceded six. He worked hard but was simply out of his depth on the night.
Bernardo Lopes - 5.5: From our perspective, Lopes was Gibraltar's best defender, which isn't saying much. He made a remarkable 11 clearances and two blocked shots, throwing himself in front of everything. Without him, the scoreline could have been even worse. He still looked shaky at times but his effort and commitment were undeniable.
Kian Ronan - 3.5: A torrid time for Ronan. He was defensively all at sea and his distribution was poor, completing just over half his passes. He picked up a yellow card for a bad foul and made eight clearances mainly because his team was under siege. He looked out of his depth and was arguably the worst performer on the pitch.
Jayce Olivero - 4.0: Lasted only 45 minutes before being substituted at halftime. In that time, he struggled to contain the Czech onslaught down his flank. He made four clearances but offered little else before his manager decided a change was needed. The substitution felt like a mercy.

Midfielders
Nicholas Pozo - 5.0: He was overrun in the midfield battle. Pozo made a few clearances and an interception but spent the entire match chasing the ball. He was substituted after 69 minutes having been unable to get any foothold in the game. A tough lesson for the midfielder.
James Scanlon - 4.5: A very peripheral figure in the game. He only had 25 touches in 90 minutes, which shows how little influence he had. He lost the ball frequently and struggled to make any impact going forward or defensively. The game completely passed him by.
Julian Del Rio - 4.5: Another midfielder who was a passenger for much of the game. He was dispossessed, dribbled past, and struggled to keep up with the pace of the play. He was substituted on 76 minutes after a fruitless evening spent chasing shadows.
Graeme Torrilla - 6.0: The captain was one of the few Gibraltar players to emerge with any credit. He worked tirelessly in midfield, making five tackles and winning eight of his 14 duels. He showed real fight and leadership in a dire situation. His efforts were in vain, but he never stopped trying, which stood out to us.
Forwards
Jaiden Bartolo - 5.0: An incredibly isolated and thankless role. Bartolo spent more time defending than attacking. He was fouled three times, but that was the extent of his attacking contribution. He lost possession 13 times and offered no threat. It’s hard to be too critical given the complete lack of service.
Substitutes
Paddy McClafferty - 5.0: Came on at halftime but couldn't stem the tide.
Dan Bent - 5.0: Brought on to add fresh legs but the game was already lost.
Jaron Vinet - 5.0: Had little opportunity to influence the proceedings.
Jeremy Perera - N/A: A late cameo.
Kelvin Morgan - N/A: A late cameo.
Manager
S. Wiseman - 4.0: What can you say? His team was set up to defend, but they were simply outclassed by a far superior opponent. His halftime substitution showed he was trying to change things, but it was like trying to plug a dam with a finger. A brutal learning experience for him and his team.
Sportsdunia's Player of the Match goes to Vladimir Coufal.
