Fulham vs Man City Player Ratings: Erling Haaland 9.5/10 Rated as the Cityzens Survived a Late Fulham Charge in a Nine-Goal Thriller

Summary
What a chaotic game of football we just witnessed at Craven Cottage. This Premier League encounter between Fulham and Man City was a rollercoaster of non-stop action, and the scoreline conveys the same with a wild 5-4 victory for Man City. Talking about the tactical battle on the field, both teams lacked discipline at the back, as we can see from the scoreline.
Fulham showed incredible spirit to fight back multiple times. They simply refused to lie down, scoring four goals against a team like City. But defensively, both sides looked vulnerable every time the other attacked. It made for an absolutely breathless viewing experience.
Ultimately, the individual brilliance of City's attackers was the difference. Phil Foden and Erling Haaland were simply on another planet today. The Norwegian striker broke the record for the fastest player to score 100 Goals in Premier League history. It was one of those matches you just had to see to believe, a true goal fest. Here are Sportsdunia's Fulham vs Man City player ratings.

Goalkeeper
Gianluigi Donnarumma - 5.5: A very strange day for the keeper. He made a crucial save in the first half but ended up conceding four goals. We noticed he couldn't do much about most of them, as his defence left him exposed time and time again. Still, conceding four is never a good look. His distribution was solid enough, but this was a day he'll want to forget.
Defenders
Matheus Nunes - 6.5: Played in a defensive role and had his hands full. What stood out to us was his duel success, winning 10 of his 13 battles which is impressive. He was busy, making five tackles and five clearances. However, he was part of a backline that was breached four times, which has to be factored in. A mixed bag, really.
Rúben Dias - 6.0: Not the commanding performance we expect from him. He made a couple of key interceptions and clearances but looked rattled by Fulham's persistent attack. The defensive unit as a whole was disorganized. From our perspective, he seemed a yard off the pace and struggled to marshal the backline effectively.
Josko Gvardiol - 6.5: Similar to his defensive partners, he had moments of quality mixed with uncertainty. He made a brilliant clearance off the line, which prevented an even lower score. But he was also part of that chaotic defence. He was comfortable on the ball, but his main job is to defend, and the team conceded four.
Nico O'Reilly - 5.0: A really tough outing for the youngster. He was tenacious, getting into 15 duels and making four tackles. However, he lost possession 15 times and committed three fouls. It felt like the occasion got to him a bit. We saw him struggle against Fulham's tricky wingers all game long.

Midfielders
Bernardo Silva - 7.0: The captain worked tirelessly as always. He was a ball of energy, winning seven duels and making four tackles. What stood out was his constant running and pressing, trying to drag his team forward. He didn't have a direct goal contribution, but his work rate was invaluable in such an open game.
Nico González - 6.5: A tidy performance before being substituted. He kept the ball moving with an 89% pass accuracy and made a few important defensive contributions. He didn't dominate the midfield but was a steady presence. The decision to take him off seemed tactical, to bring on a more defensive-minded player.
Tijjani Reijnders - 7.5: Scored a great goal, arriving in the box at the perfect time. His performance was full of intelligent runs and neat passes. He was a link between the midfield and attack, creating a chance and always looking to be positive. A really encouraging display that was full of quality.
Forwards
Phil Foden - 9.5: Absolutely unplayable. He scored two sensational goals, one a beautiful strike from distance. His touch, vision, and movement were on a different level. He was the architect of so much of City's good play and looked a threat every single time he touched the ball.
Erling Haaland - 9.5: A monster of a performance. Our man of the match, without a shadow of a doubt. He scored one, provided two assists, and hit the woodwork twice. He was a constant nightmare for the Fulham defence. His power and movement were just too much to handle. The only slight blemish was a missed big chance, but his overall contribution was immense.
Jérémy Doku - 7.0: An electric, if frustrating, performance. He got a goal and an assist, showing his explosive talent. However, he also lost possession 17 times which was a team-high. He has that raw ability to change a game in an instant, but from our perspective, his decision-making needs to be a bit more consistent.

Substitutes
Savinho - N/A: Came on for Jérémy Doku and provided some fresh legs.
John Stones - N/A: Replaced Nico González to add some defensive stability.
Rayan Cherki - N/A: Came on late and picked up a yellow card.
Nathan Aké - N/A: A late sub to see out the game.
Manager
Josep Guardiola - 6.5: His team scored five goals and got the three points, so he will be happy with that. However, he must be concerned about the defensive frailties his team showed. Conceding four to Fulham will not have pleased him. The attack bailed him out today.

Goalkeeper
Bernd Leno - 5.0: A thankless task for the German keeper. He conceded five goals, and there was little he could do about most of them. City's finishing was just too clinical. He made a couple of punches and clearances, but was ultimately overwhelmed by the attacking quality he faced.
Defenders
Kenny Tete - 5.5: Had a difficult first half and was hooked at the break. He struggled to contain the pace and trickery of Jérémy Doku. He won a decent number of his duels but was on the back foot for most of his time on the pitch. A day to forget.
Joachim Andersen - 5.0: A shocking performance from the captain. His error leading to a goal was a moment he'll want to erase from memory. While he had a lot of touches and his passing was generally accurate, that one glaring mistake was incredibly costly. Not his finest hour.
Calvin Bassey - 5.5: He battled hard against Erling Haaland but, like most defenders, came up short. He made eight clearances, which shows how busy he was. However, he was part of a defence that was torn apart on multiple occasions. A tough learning experience.
Ryan Sessegnon - 4.5: A very poor performance. He struggled defensively and offered very little going forward. He lost possession 12 times and seemed off the pace of the game. From our perspective, he was the weakest link in a defence that was already struggling. A really difficult night for him.

Midfielders
Sander Berge - 5.5: A mixed bag for the midfielder. He was tidy in possession with 94% pass accuracy and won a majority of his duels. But, he was credited with an own goal, which is a massive negative. He worked hard, but that moment unfortunately defined his game.
Saša Lukić - 6.0: He was busy in the first half, making a couple of tackles and drawing fouls. He created one chance with a key pass. However, he was substituted at halftime, with the manager clearly wanting to change things up. An average display.
Harry Wilson - 6.5: Provided a lovely assist for the first Fulham goal. He was a creative spark for his team, always looking to deliver a good ball into the box. He did lose possession quite a bit, but his willingness to take risks paid off. A decent showing.
Alex Iwobi - 8.0: Fulham's best player by a mile. He scored a fantastic goal from outside the box and was a constant threat. His passing was crisp, and he carried the ball with purpose. What stood out to us was his composure and quality in a chaotic game. He can hold his head high.
Emile Smith Rowe - 7.5: Scored a goal and looked very dangerous throughout his time on the pitch. He took four shots and was always looking to make things happen. It was great to see him playing with such confidence and attacking intent. A very positive performance.
Forwards
Raúl Jiménez - 6.0: He worked tirelessly for the team, but it wasn't his day. He was caught offside three times, which killed promising attacks. He held the ball up well at times but lacked a cutting edge in front of goal. A frustrating evening for the striker.
Substitutes
Samuel Chukwueze - 7.5: Came on and made a huge impact, scoring twice. A fantastic cameo.
Timothy Castagne - 6.0: Replaced Kenny Tete and had a steady if unspectacular second half.
Jonah Kusi-Asare - N/A: Came on late for Raúl Jiménez.
Josh King - N/A: A late replacement for the impressive Emile Smith Rowe.
Kevin - N/A: A brief appearance at the end.
Manager
M. Saraiva Da Silva - 7.0: His team showed incredible heart and fight. To score four goals against Manchester City is a huge achievement. His substitutions, especially bringing on Samuel Chukwueze, were inspired. However, his defence was all over the place, and he needs to address that.
