What a chaotic and thrilling encounter we witnessed at St. James' Park. From our perspective, this was a classic Premier League match full of twists and turns. Newcastle United will be kicking themselves after letting this one slip away. They fought back but ultimately fell short against a determined AFC Bournemouth side.
Newcastle 1-2 Bournemouth Player Ratings: James Hill 8.5/10 MOTM as Truffert Late Goal Earn 3 Points For Away Team

The visitors drew first blood. Marcus Tavernier found the net just after the half-hour mark, sending the traveling fans into a frenzy. It felt like Newcastle were chasing shadows for much of the first half. They just couldn't find their rhythm.
The second half was a different story entirely. Newcastle United came out with renewed purpose, and their pressure finally paid off. William Osula bundled the ball home to level the scores, and the stadium erupted. At that moment, you felt the momentum had completely shifted. But football is a funny old game, isn't it? Just when a home win seemed possible, Adrien Truffert popped up with a late winner for the Cherries, silencing the home crowd and securing a massive three points on the road. This was a tough pill to swallow for the Magpies in this Match. Here are Sportsdunia's Newcastle vs Bournemouth player ratings.

Here are the Newcastle Player Ratings vs Bournemouth.
Goalkeeper
Aaron Ramsdale - 6.0: He couldn't do much about either goal, to be fair. Made one decent save in the first half but was otherwise a spectator for long periods. His distribution was a bit hit-and-miss, which didn't help his side build from the back.
Defenders
Lewis Hall - 5.5: A really tough first half for the young fullback. He seemed to struggle with the pace of the game and was hooked at halftime. He won a decent number of his duels but just didn't look comfortable before his substitution.
Sven Botman - 6.5: A mixed performance from the Dutchman. He made a massive eight clearances and looked commanding at times. However, he was also dribbled past and picked up a silly yellow card for a late challenge. A solid, if unspectacular, outing.
Malick Thiaw - 7.0: We were quite impressed with Thiaw. His pass accuracy was near-perfect, and he was strong in the tackle. He also threw his body on the line with a crucial shot block. One of Newcastle's better performers on a disappointing day.
Tino Livramento - 6.5: Looked sharp and energetic down the right flank before his unfortunate injury. He was winning his battles and passing crisply. It was a real shame to see him forced off in the second half. Newcastle missed his drive.

Midfielders
Sandro Tonali - 6.5: The captain put in a shift, as you'd expect. He was tidy on the ball and tried to make things happen, but his final product was lacking. He skied one shot from a good position and committed a few needless fouls.
Jacob Ramsey - 6.0: Showed flashes of his quality, creating a couple of chances for his teammates. However, he drifted out of the game for periods and was substituted just after the hour mark. We expected a little more from him.
Lewis Miley - 7.0: What stood out to us was this kid's engine. He was everywhere. He won an incredible number of aerial duels for a midfielder and was constantly breaking up play. A very mature performance that belied his years.
Forwards
Harvey Barnes - 5.0: A really frustrating day at the office for Barnes. From our perspective, he was one of the poorest performers. He lost possession far too often and his duel-win percentage was shockingly low. Nothing seemed to come off for him.
William Osula - 7.0: He gets a high rating for one reason: the goal. It was a scrappy finish but a vital one that got his team back in the game. Outside of that, he struggled to hold up the ball and was caught offside a few times.
Anthony Elanga - 5.5: Much like Barnes on the other flank, Elanga really struggled to make an impact. He showed a couple of nice touches but was largely anonymous before being substituted. A quiet afternoon for the winger.

Substitutes
Kieran Trippier - 6.5: Came on at halftime and provided more experience and stability than Hall. His delivery from set-pieces was a threat.
Jacob Murphy - 6.0: Replaced Elanga but didn't offer much more. He got booked and missed a chance late on.
Bruno Guimarães - 6.5: His introduction gave Newcastle more control in midfield. He was tidy in possession and kept things ticking over.
Dan Burn - 6.0: Slotted in at the back after Livramento's injury and did a solid job without being spectacular.
Nick Woltemade - N/A: Brought on too late to have any real influence on the proceedings.
Manager
E. Howe - 5.5: His team lacked a cutting edge and looked disjointed for large parts of the match. The substitutions didn't have the desired effect, and a home loss to Bournemouth will surely sting. He'll be demanding a reaction.

Goalkeeper
Djordje Petrovic - 6.5: A solid enough performance. He couldn't have done much for the goal but made an important save in the first half. Picked up a yellow card, likely for taking his sweet time on a goal kick, which is all part of the game.
Defenders
Adrien Truffert - 8.0: The hero of the hour. Not only was he solid defensively, but he popped up with the winning goal. A fantastic left-footed finish to win the game for his team. You can't ask for much more from your fullback.
Marcos Senesi - 7.5: A commanding display from the centre-back. He won the majority of his duels and was a calming presence at the back. He read the game beautifully, making several key interceptions and blocks.
Álex Jiménez - 7.0: He had a busy afternoon against Newcastle's wingers but stood up to the task well. He made a high number of tackles and was aggressive in the challenge. A very committed performance from the defender.
James Hill - 8.5: Our man of the match, without a doubt. This was a colossal performance. He won everything in the air, made an incredible ten clearances, and even had one clearance off the line. An absolute brick wall at the back for the Cherries. The highest-rated player on the pitch.

Midfielders
Alex Scott - 8.0: A midfield masterclass. His pass completion rate was near perfect, and he controlled the tempo of the game for his side. He also created a big chance and was tenacious in the tackle. A complete performance.
Ryan Christie - 7.5: The captain led by example. He worked his socks off, created a big chance, and was a constant nuisance for the Newcastle midfield. He put in a real shift before being substituted.
Marcus Tavernier - 8.0: A livewire throughout. He took his goal brilliantly to open the scoring and was a constant threat with his dribbling and crossing. He was unlucky not to have another after creating three chances for his team.
Eli Kroupi - 6.0: It was a quieter game for Kroupi. He worked hard off the ball but struggled to get involved in an attacking sense. He had a couple of shots blocked but was largely on the periphery of the action.
Rayan - 7.5: Provided the crucial assist for the winning goal and was excellent all-round. He won most of his duels and used the ball intelligently, linking up play between the midfield and attack. A really impressive display.
Forwards
Evanilson - 7.0: A classic attacker's performance full of highs and lows. He bagged an assist and created a big chance but also missed a sitter from close range. A handful for the defence but could have been more clinical.
Substitutes
Tyler Adams - 6.5: Came on and added steel to the midfield to help protect the lead. Did his job effectively.
David Brooks - 6.0: Provided fresh energy in the final stages but didn't have any standout moments.
Ben Gannon-Doak - N/A: A late cameo with little time to make an impression.
Enes Ünal - N/A: Introduced in the dying minutes to help see out the game.
Alex Tóth - N/A: Another late sub to wind down the clock.
Manager
A. Iraola - 8.0: From our perspective, he got his tactics spot on. He set his team up to be resilient and to hit on the break, and it worked to perfection. His side showed immense character to find a late winner after being pegged back. A brilliant away day for the boss.
