Goalkeeper
Mike Maignan - 6.5: He couldn't do much about either goal, to be fair. Made a couple of really crucial saves, especially one in the second half to deny Delprato initially. His distribution was a bit hit-or-miss with only 59% accuracy. He commanded his box well with two good high claims. A decent performance let down by his defence.
Defenders
Koni De Winter - 6.0: Started the game solidly enough, even got an assist. But he seemed to struggle as Parma grew into the game. He was involved in a few messy situations, committing four fouls before being substituted. Not his most composed outing, and the second-half collapse reflects on the whole backline.
Strahinja Pavlović - 6.5: On paper, his stats look great. Seven clearances and three successful tackles show he was busy. He was a rock in the first half. However, the defence completely lost its shape for Parma's goals. He tried to hold things together but the communication just wasn't there when it mattered most.
Matteo Gabbia - 6.0: A game of two halves for Gabbia. In the first 45, he was passing with 100% accuracy and looked completely untroubled. The second half was a different story entirely. He lost a few key duels and seemed a step off the pace as Parma poured forward. Missed a headed chance as well.

Midfielders
Pervis Estupiñán - 6.5: Was having a tidy, if unspectacular, game. He was efficient in possession and made a crucial clearance off the line. From our perspective, he didn't offer a huge amount going forward. His substitution at 70 minutes felt like a move to shore things up, which didn't exactly work.
Samuele Ricci - 6.0: Another player who did his job quietly before being taken off. He kept the ball moving and made a few recoveries. However, he didn't impose himself on the game. He was just... there. Milan needed more bite in the midfield in that second half and he couldn't provide it.
Luka Modrić - 7.5: The master was at it again in the first half, pulling all the strings with over 100 passes. What stood out to us was how he dictated the entire tempo. But even he couldn't stop the Parma tide. He got a yellow card for a frustrated foul, which tells you everything about how the game turned.
Youssouf Fofana - 5.5: A really poor performance from Fofana. He was a passenger for large parts of the match. He only won two of his eight duels and was dribbled past twice. We noticed he looked off the pace and failed to provide any defensive cover when his team needed it. A day to forget.
Alexis Saelemaekers - 8.5: Milan's best player by a country mile and our highest-rated player. He was absolutely electric. Scored a brilliant goal to open the proceedings and then showed great skill to win the penalty. He was a constant threat and never stopped working. It's a shame his teammates couldn't match his level for the full 90 minutes.
Forwards
Rafael Leão - 7.0: He confidently dispatched his penalty to make it 2-0. Showed flashes of his brilliance and drew three fouls. However, he lost possession far too often (13 times). It was a frustrating performance because you know he has so much more to give. He needed to step up when the team was under pressure.
Christopher Nkunku - 6.5: He provided the assist for the opening goal and had 100% pass accuracy. But he was largely anonymous for the rest of his time on the pitch. He only had 18 touches in 60 minutes. We expected a lot more from a player of his quality. He was rightly substituted.

Substitutes
Ruben Loftus-Cheek - 6.0: Came on but couldn't change the momentum of the game. Davide Bartesaghi - 6.0: Brought on to solidify the defense but Parma had already equalized. Christian Pulisic - 6.5: Looked lively and created a chance but couldn't find a winner. Zachary Athekame - N/A: Not on long enough to rate.
Manager
M. Allegri - 5.0: To let a 2-0 lead slip is simply unacceptable for a team like Milan. His side looked complacent and his substitutions failed to have the desired impact. He was out-thought by his counterpart in the second half. A lot of questions will be asked of his game management.

Goalkeeper
Zion Suzuki - 6.5: Conceded two goals, but one was a penalty he could do nothing about. He made three saves, including a couple of smart stops to keep his team in the game when Milan were on top. His distribution wasn't perfect, but he stayed composed under pressure. A solid outing.
Defenders
Abdoulaye Ndiaye - 4.0: A truly calamitous first half. He looked completely out of his depth. He rashly gave away the penalty which was a clear error. It was no surprise to see him hooked at halftime. A performance he will want to forget immediately.
Lautaro Valenti - 7.5: A much better showing after his partner's difficult start. He was immense in the second half, a true defensive stalwart. Made a staggering eight clearances and two key tackles. He was a major reason Parma were able to build their comeback from a solid base.
Enrico Delprato - 8.0: A true captain's performance. He never gave up and led by example. He was a constant threat from set-pieces and got his reward with a fantastic header for the equalizer. Defensively solid, and provided the goal that earned his team a precious point. Superb.

Midfielders
Adrián Bernabé - 7.5: Scored the goal that sparked the entire comeback. It was a well-taken finish and gave his team belief right before halftime. He was a creative force, keeping the ball well and linking play. His substitution was a bit of a surprise, but he had already done his job.
Mandela Keita - 7.0: The unsung hero in midfield. He did the dirty work that allowed others to shine. Made seven ball recoveries and was strong in the tackle. Kept possession ticking over with 92% pass accuracy. A disciplined and effective performance.
Mathias Løvik - 6.0: A very industrious but sometimes sloppy performance. He lost the ball quite a bit but also made three interceptions. He worked hard for the team down the flank. He was part of a midfield that was overrun in the first half but improved in the second.
Oliver Sørensen - 6.5: A tenacious display. He was booked for his troubles but that just shows his commitment. He didn't offer a huge amount going forward but he was solid defensively, making five ball recoveries. He helped break up Milan's rhythm, which was vital.
Sascha Britschgi - 8.0: The architect of the comeback. Two brilliant assists for both of Parma's goals. His delivery from crosses was exceptional all game. He was the creative spark that Parma desperately needed, creating three chances. An absolutely outstanding performance from the midfielder.
Forwards
Mateo Pellegrino - 6.0: A really frustrating player to watch. He was a bundle of energy and caused problems, but his final product was lacking. He lost nine of his 13 duels and missed a big chance. He needs to add more composure to his game, though his work rate was undeniable.
Patrick Cutrone - 7.0: He ran his socks off against his former club. He didn't get a goal, but he did everything else. He created two chances, held the ball up well, and was a general nuisance for the Milan defence. A selfless and tireless shift from the striker.
Substitutes
Mariano Troilo - 7.0: Came on for the disastrous Ndiaye and the defence immediately looked more secure. Emanuele Valeri - 6.0: Added fresh legs on the wing. Hernani - N/A: Not on long enough to rate. Benjamín Cremaschi - N/A: Late cameo.
Manager
C. Antón Cuesta - 7.5: His team looked dead and buried at 2-0. But his halftime team talk and tactical switch, including replacing Ndiaye, completely changed the game. He deserves immense credit for instilling such belief in his players to fight back against a top side. A tactical masterclass.
Sportsdunia's Player of the Match goes to Alexis Saelemaekers.
