Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. were started its journey being a third-tier club, where it competed long time in the Southern League, and 19 years later, they started their first Football Journey. Brighton FC were relegated to the fourth division for the first time in Brighton history. The reason behind their relegation was financial crisis, as in the inaugural years, they had been managed by the board of directors, and the place of the big money sponsors was vacant.

On December 14, 2023, Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club were first time qualified for the UEFA Europa League, where the club played unbelievably in that tournament, tactically outscoring almost every team in the group stage; however, in the Round of 16, Brighton and Hove Albion F.C. Football Club faced Jose Mourinho's AS Roma, and they lost that, despite fought hard.
