On December 14, 2023, Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club were first time qualified for the UEFA Europa League, where the club played unbelievably in that tournament, tactically outscoring almost every team in the group stage; however, in the Round of 16, Brighton and Hove Albion F.C. Football Club faced Jose Mourinho's AS Roma, and they lost that, despite fought hard.
