There is finally some good news for James Bond fans with the 007 First Light System Requirements revealed online. In an X post from @007GameIOI, the developers have posted a picture that unveiled both minimum and recommended requirements for the PC platform.

After a 13-year hiatus since 007 Legends, James Bond fans can now breathe a sigh of relief as they'll get one from IO Interactive. When the gameplay was first revealed during the Sony State of Play in September 2025, everyone should have had a brief idea that the system requirements would be pretty high.

Graphics Card: Nvidia GTX 1660 / AMD RX 5700 / Intel discrete GPU equivalent

For the unversed, 007 First Light was one of the biggest reveals during the Xbox Partner Preview Showcase 2025.

IO Interactive already mentioned they will be implementing their “significantly advanced” Glacier Engine. We, however, haven't received any 4K specs, even with the 007 First Light System Requirements revealed.

The part that worries me the most, however, is the recommended requirements. While the RTX 3060Ti GPU has 8GB of VRAM, the developers have mentioned 12 GB in recommended specs. This surely raises serious concerns about whether the developers have actually had a proper test run before trying the game at 60 frames per second.

007 First Light Release Date

Despite facing a delay in December 2025, the title is scheduled to release on May 27, 2026. In the meantime, you can pre-order the title on Steam and the Epic Games Store for $69.99.
