How to Get Guitar in ARC Raiders: Everything You Need to Know

Getting the guitar in ARC Raiders isn’t something you can just pick up while exploring. It’s locked behind one of the game’s trickiest secrets, the Buried City red button puzzle. To unlock it, you’ll need to travel all across the map, carefully pressing a series of hidden red buttons in the correct order. This guide will tell you every red button location, so you can unlock the hidden room in the Red Tower and get the guitar in ARC Raiders.

How to Get a Guitar in ARC Raiders

The Buried City button puzzle in ARC Raiders is very strict and unforgiving. You need to press 15 red buttons spread across the map, and they must be activated in the correct order. If you press even one button at the wrong time, the entire sequence resets, and you have to start all over again. What makes it trickier is that any other player can also reset it, even a random player passing by. If someone else presses a button out of order, the puzzle instantly resets for everyone. Here's how to get guitar ARC Raiders:

Red Button Location 1 - Plaza Rosa Apartment

Head inside Plaza Rosa and look for an abandoned apartment. Once inside, climb the stairs to the first floor. Turn right and walk into the dining room, then continue straight into the kitchen. At the far end of the kitchen, near a cupboard, you’ll spot the first red button.

Red Button Location 2 - Underground Building

Go to the marked spot on your map where you’ll find an underground structure. Use the zipline to go down. Once you land, move forward and turn left. The second red button is placed near some shelves. It is important you complete these in order to solve the ARC Raiders guitar puzzle.

Red Button Location 3 - Warehouse Roof

Make your way to the Warehouse and climb up using the ladder to reach the roof. Walk towards the back side of the building. Between a few machines, you’ll find the third red button.

Red Button Location 4 - Marano Park Shop

Head to Marano Park and enter the abandoned shop there. Walk inside and move towards the shelves. The red button is sitting right on one of them. It will take you a step closer to get the guitar in ARC Raiders.

Red Button Location 5 - Grandioso Apartments

Enter the Grandioso Apartments and turn right. You’ll see a zipline; use it to reach the second floor. Once you land, go left and step onto the balcony. Move forward and enter the abandoned apartment on the left. Inside, look behind the sofa to find the red button.

Red Button Location 6 - Piazza Arbusto Tower

Go to Piazza Arbusto and climb the nearby tower. Once you reach the top, walk towards the edge. The red button is right at the corner of the tower.

Red Button Location 7 - North of the Library

Travel north of the Library until you find an abandoned bus. Step inside, and you’ll see the red button placed near one of the seats.

Red Button Location 8 - West of Town Hall

Head west of the Town Hall and find a damaged house. Enter through the crack in the wall. Inside, go straight and turn left into the kitchen, then turn left again to reach the bedroom. The red button is right beside the bed.

Red Button Location 9 - East of Buried Properties

Go east of Buried Properties to a broken building. Use the stairs to climb up, then move to the right side. You’ll find the red button near some shelves.

Red Button Location 10 - Hospital Basement

Enter the Hospital and turn left immediately. Take the stairs going down. At the bottom, look under the stairs, near a yellow signpost. The red button is hidden there.

Red Button Location 11 - Abandoned Highway

Walk along the Abandoned Highway until you reach the section where the bridge is broken. Drop down onto the roof of the house on your left. Once on the roof, turn left and walk forward. The button is sitting near some rubble on your left.

Red Button Location 12 - Church Ruins

Go to the Church Ruins and head to the west side of the building. Climb up onto the roof, and you’ll find the red button there.

Red Button Location 13 - Santa Maria Houses

Visit the Santa Maria houses and climb the stairs all the way to the top floor. You’ll see a zipline; use it to reach the attic. The red button is waiting for you up there.

Red Button Location 14 - Small Tower Near Warehouse

Look for a small tower just east of the warehouse. Go inside and check around. The red button is easy to spot once you’re in.

Red Button Location 15 Red Tower

For the final button, head to the Red Tower. On the ground floor, find the entrance with a broken door. Step inside, and you’ll see the last red button right there. Press it to finish up.

Guitar in ARC Raiders: Location

You can find the Guitar inside the Red Tower, but it won’t be available right away. First, you need to press all the red buttons in the correct order.
Once you’ve done that, the door next to the Red Tower will finally open, revealing a hidden room. Inside this secret area, you’ll find the guitar, along with other fun items like shakers, recorders, and a few rare collectables.
