Summary
ARC Raiders Update 1.13.0 is finally here, and with it, it brings several new features like solo vs squad, adjustments to quality of life, and bug fixes in different maps. However, one addition that is catching everyone's eye is Arc Raiders New Epic Augments.
For those who are actively playing Arc Raiders, they must know how important Augments are. These wearable gears can improve your efficiency and can provide tactical advantages. Here is everything from the ARC Raiders patch notes on 27th January, 2026.
ARC Raiders Update 1.13.0: New Two Epic Augments, Solo vs Squads, and More

As mentioned, Arc Raiders January patch updates have brought two new Augments, an open party invite system, and several bug fixes in Dam Battlegrounds and Buried City Maps.
Arc Raiders New Epic Augments Details
- Tactical Mk. 3 (Revival): It is a self-healing feature. By using it, you can restore 1 health every 5 seconds. However, if you take any damage, this healing stops for 30 seconds. It has 100 durability, 16 backpack slots, 2 safe pockets, and is compatible with Light Shields.
- Survivor Mk. 3 (Safekeeper): As the name suggests, its main feature is a safe pocket that can store any item (even weapons). Usually, safe pockets are limited by item size or type, sometimes as seen in many games. So, it is a useful feature if someone prioritizes your loot.
Not to mention that these augment spawn locations are not fixed. So, if you want to get your hands on them, you should try your luck in high loot zone areas. Also, in case you want to make more coins, you can check out the ARC Raiders Money Farm Guide.
Solo vs Squads Matchmaking
- Another feature added with this ARC Raiders Update 1.13.0 is Solo vs Squads Matchmaking. Of course, as it sounds, this update has been designed to cater mostly to pro-level Arc Raiders players.
- Therefore, if you have reached level 40, you now have a new option on your matchmaking screen.
- You can toggle "Solo vs Squad" to enter the queue alone against full three-person teams.
- Since you are taking more risk by engaging in solo vs squad mode, you will get a +20% bonus XP at the end of the round, regardless of whether you die early or emerge victorious.
Bird City Update
- A new permanent map condition called Bird City has been added to the Buried City map. Huge flocks of birds have moved into the chimneys.
- This change adds more ziplines and bird traps to the map. This will force more combat onto the rooftops and increase player encounters.
The Trophy Display Project
This is a new long-term project similar to the Candleberry Project. It has five steps that require you to hunt down specific ARC groups and collect their parts.
- Rewards: Each step gives you blueprints and Raider Tokens.
- Final Reward: Upon completing the whole case, you get a Howl emote, an Acoustic Guitar, and 300,000 coins.
- This project does not reset when an expedition ends, so you can take your time.
Patch Highlights: Audio and Quality of Life
- Open parties now allow friends to join without invites.
- Friends can join even while players are mid-round.
- Squad members can invite others and not just party leaders.
- Connection stability has been improved, and a bug causing voice lines to go missing in the store preview has been fixed as well.
- These changes reduce downtime between matches and make grouping faster and smoother.
Content and Bug Fixes
- Ticks now give you a brief window to dodge-roll to remove them after being grabbed.
- Fixed a bug where Snitches would stop calling ARC if you threw a Lure Grenade. They also won't make noise after being destroyed.
- Dead Shredders are now properly labeled as scavengeable.
- Spotters will no longer follow you into buildings and get stuck.
Map-Specific Updates
- Dam Battlegrounds: Changes applied to cliffs around the raider outpost tower and fixed elevator shaft collisions in the Control Tower to prevent players from getting stuck. Also, fixed the unintended reach to the water treatment issue.
- Buried City: The invisible wall beneath the highway has been removed. Plus, the musical puzzle has been removed; you can now buy the guitar directly from Shani.
This was the overall crux of today's Arc Raiders January Update. However, Embark Studios has also revealed the ARC Raiders 2026 Roadmap; do check it out.
