ARC Raiders 2026 Roadmap: Everything You Need to Know

As 2026 begins, Embark Studios is kicking off its first full year of ARC Raiders with a four-month plan called Escalation. Following a great launch and the Cold Snap event, the team is now working faster than ever.

They’ve promised to release a major new update every month to ensure the world of Speranza keeps growing and changing. Here is everything you need to know about this ARC Raiders Roadmap 2026.

ARC Raiders Roadmap 2026

Starting this January and running through April, each month will bring us a themed update packed with new threats and challenges for Raiders in the ARC Raiders 2026 Roadmap.

• January: Headwinds

  The year starts with the Headwinds update. Its biggest feature is a new matchmaking option just for players at level 40 and above. This is a great move because it helps keep the game fair for both experienced players and those just starting.

  You can also expect a minor map condition (something that changes how the environment feels) and a new project that helps get more resources to the community.

• February: Shrouded Sky

  Things get a bit more mysterious in February with Shrouded Sky. This update is much bigger, adding a major map condition likely involving heavy winds or storms that will change how you move and fight.

  There’s also a new ARC machine to battle and a fresh Raider Deck full of new outfits and items. Plus, the team is updating current maps to keep them feeling new and opening a new expedition window for players to work on long-term goals.

• March: Flashpoint

  The action stays hot in March with Flashpoint. Raiders will have to deal with a lightning-themed map condition and yet another new ARC enemy. The most exciting news for solo scavengers, however, is a dedicated update for Scrappy.

  Our favorite mechanical, resource-collecting rooster is finally getting an upgrade to help him find even better loot while you're out in the field.

• April: Riven Tides

  The season ends with Riven Tides, which is likely the biggest update of the year so far. For the first time since November, we are getting a brand-new map! Based on the name and hints from the team, it looks like we’ll be heading to a coastal or beach area.

  Along with the new map, April brings a large ARC enemy, which is a massive boss-level machine that will challenge even the best squads, and along with all these, another Expedition window to close out the season.

Fans' Reaction to ARC Raiders Upcoming Events

Players are reacting quickly to the news, with many expressing excitement over the large ARC and the brand-new map. Some hope the level 40+ matchmaking will stop cheaters from ruining games for high-skilled streamers.

Not everyone, however, is happy; some feel that weather events should be mandatory rather than optional to keep the challenge real. Fans are also asking for practical features like a practice range and better inventory tools to make crafting and repairing gear easier.
