BGMS 2025 Semi Finals: Teams, Schedule and Where To Watch

The Battleground Mobile India Series is nearing its conclusion following the end of the league stage of the tournament. The four bounty teams made it through to the grand finals of this marquee BGMI event, while the ones who narrowly missed out made their way into the semi-finals. The semifinalists will be getting a second shot at reaching the grand finals once the round commences on September 10th, 2025.

BGMS league stage saw top four teams: Revenant X Spark, Soul, Gods Reign and NoNx eSports move into the grand finals. The next eight teams will be competing in the semifinals, along with eight additional teams who will arrive via the playoffs. The semifinals are anticipated to be a heated affair, especially because of the high-profile teams that will be participating in this round. The top 12 teams in the semi-finals will head to the grand finals. The complete details of the BGMS 2025 semifinals are given below.

BGMS 2025 Semifinals Teams

The BGMS 2025 semifinals will comprise a total of 16 BGMI teams. Eight of these teams will be from the league stage of the tournament, while the remaining ones will join from the playoffs, which will take place on September 9th, 2025. The eight teams from the league stage are the ones who were positioned between 5th and 12th spots. The following table shows the list of the league stage teams that will compete in the semis:

Eight additional teams will join the lobby of the semifinals from the playoff round. The playoff round consists of 16 teams (12 from BGMS and 4 from BGCS). These eight teams will be selected from the following lobby.

BGMS 2025 Semifinals Schedule and Where To Watch

BGMS 2025 semifinals will see 16 teams clash on the three maps. Each day of the semifinals will see four matches. These matches will be played on two consecutive days, September 10th and 11th, 2025. The matches will be live telecast on JioHotstar and Star Sports Khel. It will also be streamed on Nodwin Gaming's official YouTube Channel. The matches will commence from 5 PM IST.

BGMS 2025 League Stage Overall Standings

Team Genesis, Godlike eSports and iQOO Orangutan are the favourites to finish at the top of the standings in the semifinals. These teams missed the finals spot by a whisker during the league stage. They will be looking to move past the mistakes they committed in the league stage to get a spot in the finals. However, their road to finals will be hindered by some of the underrated teams, and we may encounter some surprising additions in the finals lobby. Having followed the game since 2019, I feel this is the best chance for teams like Godlike and Genesis to finally break the curse of going trophyless. Using strategic rotations and avoiding unnecessary aggression may bear fruit for both teams.
