The Chennai Esports Global Championship, CEGC 2025, has reached its grand finals stage. The CEGC 2025 BGMI grand finals day 1 was played on November 11, 2025. The grand finals featured the top 16 teams that qualified from the semifinals and last chance qualifiers. The grand finals were played as a LAN event at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai, in front of fans in attendance.

The CEGC 2025 BGMI grand finals have a total prize pool of 50 lakhs INR. The CEGC 2025 grand finals feature some top teams like iQOO Soul, Infinix True Rippers, and Revenant X Spark. The first day of finals saw 6 matches. These matches were played on 3 maps: Erangle, Miramar and Rondo. The battle for the trophy began as the matches got underway from 2:25 PM IST. After the end of the match 6 on day 1, Team iQOO Soul led the overall standings with 68 points.

Welt Esports got the first chicken dinner of CEGC 2025 BGMI Grand Finals. They dominated Rondo and took home an 18-point victory. Team FS emerged victorious in match 2 at Erangle with a total of 18 points. Team VXT won the third battle royale at Miramar with 12 finish points. Team Vasista Esports sneaked in a winning performance in match 4 with a 23-point chicken dinner. Team Soul's rocket finally took off in match 5 at Miramar as they got a 15-point WWCD. Victorus Summus won the last match of the day with 8 finish points.

CEGC 2025 BGMI Grand Finals Day 1 Best Performers

Venom from Team Victorus Summus was the MVP of the first match with 5 finish contributions. Iqoo Soul's star assaulter was the MVP of match 2, with 8 finishes. VXT's assaulter, Ninja, earned the MVP honours in Miramar with 6 finishes. VXT Scaryjod showed his class in the fourth match and bagged 7 finishes. Soul's star assaulter, Joker, was the MVP of match 5 with 4 finishes. VS Mafia ended the day with the MVP title in match 6 with 5 finishes.
