BGMI iQOO Battlegrounds Series 2025: Guide

India's most popular mobile game, Battleground Mobile, is underway with yet another esports event featuring top teams from across the nation. The event is titled ‘ BGMI IQOO Battlegrounds Series 2025’. It is one of the most renowned BGMI tournaments of the country, sponsored by IQOO and hosted in collaboration with Nodwin Gaming. The event will see top-tier BGMI squads from the country competing for a mammoth prize pool of 1 crore INR. Fans are set to get captivated by intense fights and shivering rivalries on the rugged terrains of Erangle, the deserts of Miramar and the wilderness of Sanhok.

With many high-profile teams like Godlike eSports, Team Soul, Orangutan and 8-bit in action, fans can expect moments of absolute brilliance and chaos from the players on all the days of the finals. The much-anticipated tournament will officially commence on July 21st, 2025.

BGMI iQOO Battlegrounds Series 2025 Format

• Group Stage (July 21-24, Online)

BGMI iQOO Battlegrounds Series will feature a total of 32 teams (30 invited and 2 Qualified). BGMI iQOO Battlegrounds Series will kickstart with the Group stage qualifiers on July 21st, 2025. The Qualifiers shall be played in online mode on four consecutive days from July 21st to 24th. The qualifiers will see the teams being divided into two groups. Each group will consist of 16 teams. Each team shall play 12 matches in this stage, and at the end of four days, the eight teams sitting at the top of the leaderboards will lock their spots in the coveted finals. The remaining 24 teams will get a second shot to reach the finals by competing in a different round.

• Semi Finals (July 25-28, Online)

This round will feature 24 teams from the group stage that failed to finish in the top 8 spots. These 24 teams will clash against each other for the last eight slots of the Grand Finals. The 24 teams shall be divided into three different groups. Each group will house eight teams. The teams will contest the matches in a round robin format, with each team getting 16 matches to accumulate the most points. At the end of four days of competition top 8 eight teams shall progress to the Grand Finals, while the others will have to bid farewell to the competition.

• Grand Finals (August 8-10, LAN)

After weeks of intense competition, the 16 finalists will battle it out to be crowned BGMI iQOO Battlegrounds Series champions. The finals shall be a LAN event in Delhi. The official venue of the finals is yet to be disclosed by the organisers. The 16 finalists shall play a total of 18 high-voltage matches across three days of competition. The winners shall be announced on 10th August, 2025.

Of these 32 teams, 30 teams are invited on the grounds of being top organisations, while two teams have qualified via the iQOO Community Cup Season 2.
