Clash of Clans Maintenance Break Today (May 7): When Will the Game Open?

Quick Heads up, Village Chiefs! Supercell has suddenly announced a Clash of Clans Maintenance Break today 7 May, to fix the persistent bugs and issues. Given it's a maintenance, players will soon be logged out of their bases, so don't get afraid if you can't log in to your account at the moment, as the game is down currently!

Clash of Clans Maintenance Break: Is the CoC Server Down Now?

Short Answer: Yes. Supercell recently announced via a X (formerly Twitter Post) that the Clash of Clans Maintenance Break will start soon and should last for approximately 40 minutes. The developers provided a short heads-up for players to complete their remaining CWL Attacks for the day.

Although the devs announced that the CoC Maintenance Break will last only for the next 40 mins, it can get extended as well, depending on how long Supercell needs to fix the existing bugs and glitches, as the servers will open gradually across all regions. What's Coming After the CoC Maintenance Break Today

Given today's maintenance is mostly about bug fixes, there won't be any significant additions coming with today's Clash of Clans Update. Supercell has already announced to utilise the break to fix all the existing glitches and patch up any new issues that may appear during the maintenance. They will be applying the following fixes:

• Promoted Players were not automatically signed up to their respective Leagues
• Weekly Legend League attacks were not beginning on time every Monday
• While making Loot Attacks, the screen kept stuck on “Searching for opponents” for extended periods
• Local Leaderboard had a display glitch showing Legend League 2 and 3 Players ranked above Legend League 1 players
• Previous Tournament ending times were being displayed incorrectly

Supercell had just dropped the Clash of Clans Optional Update v18.350.8, fixing multiple glitches and optimising all the existing bugs. The current maintenance, although fixes a few recurring issues, the developers had already taken care of the major one in yesterday's optional update. The Clash vs Skeletons Event is full swing as well, so make sure to complete your attacks there once the Maintenance Break in CoC ends!
