Supercell Introduces Major Progression Changes in Clash of Clans May 2026 Update

Supercell has recently introduced one of its biggest updates in Clash of Clans. The Clash of Clans May 2026 update brings significant changes in the Builder Base by introducing a new Builder, along with making the Barbarian King available from TH4 in the Home Village!

Additionally, the developers have introduced significant Gold Pass Changes and some much-needed Clash of Clans Balance Changes May 2026 as well with this update! Let's break down the changes coming with the Clash of Clans May 2026 Update.

Introducing the Clash of Clans Boto Shack Builder

Upgrading the Builder Base will now become easier, thanks to the addition of a brand-new assistant. Players can now run two upgrades in the Builder Base simultaneously with the new Boto Shack builder.

The infamous grind for the Builder Base advancement will now become faster and less tiresome as a result. You must fulfil a few short prerequisites to get this new builder.

The Clash of Clans Boto Shack Builder is available in the shop once players upgrade their villages to Builder Hall 2 and have unlocked every Home Village builder. Supercell gave priority to the Builder Base this month in its monthly updates, as seen with the Clash of Clans Builder Base Bonanza Event.

Unlock the Barbarian King as Early as TH4

Supercell has finally heard the players' demands, and the first hero can now be unlocked at TH4! With the new Clash of Clans May 2026 update, the Barbarian King will now be unlocked at Town Hall 4 and Town Hall 7. Early introduction of the King will now provide newer players with more attacking strategies on hero mechanics and abilities.

Clash of Clans Gold Pass Changes

Starting from the June cycle, Supercell is making another round of significant Clash of Clans Gold Pass Changes. First, they are offering retroactive stamp card incentives.

Additionally, players won't be penalised for making a late purchase because the extra points will be awarded retrospectively as soon as you upgrade. Furthermore, clashers will also get additional loyalty benefits for making consecutive purchases by receiving an additional stamp for purchasing consecutive Gold Passes.
