The Clash Royale community has been complaining about heavy-hitting tank units like Mega Knight and the P.E.K.K.A being difficult to counter in most matches.

5 Best Meta Clash Royale Ronin Decks

Ronin was highlighted as the perfect counter to heavy-hitting tank troops, including the likes of Mega Knight and P.E.K.K.A. He is a five-cost legendary card with high health and decent attack damage.

What makes him unique is his Parry skill, which allows him to block and reflect all melee damage to its source every few seconds. As such, the more attacks the enemy troops do, the more damage Ronin reflects.

1. EvoBreakerBarrel Ronin Cycle

This deck is one of the best Ronin decks in Clash Royale since it uses a solid combo of attacking with evolved Wall Breakers and Skeleton Barrels. These two can quickly reach enemy towers and blow up near them to deal damage.

To take care of defenders in their way, troops like Dart Goblin and Hero Goblins come in handy, the latter of which can be used for surprise, quick attacks. Ronin serves both as a defender and a tank in this deck, and you can start attacks with him as he pushes from the bridge.

When defenders and towers lock on to him, play both the Evolution cards as they get a clear line to the towers. Play both Spirits and the Log when defending to cycle them out and get your main cards in hand quickly.

2. HeroBowler Giant Ronin

Out of all five Clash Royale best Ronin decks, this one is the most expensive with an average elixir cost of 3.9. As such, this is suitable for game modes like triple and infinite elixir matches that you often can play as part of Clan Wars.

The main combo is to play the Hero Bowler or the Giant as your primary tank, followed by evolved Archers to take out defenders and the Graveyard to directly target enemy towers.

You should use the Ronin primarily as a defender against high-damage troops that get near your towers. Arrows and Snowballs are best used to get defenders off the back of your two main tanks, along with Minions being good against some of the best Hero Balloon decks in Clash Royale.

3. EvoBarrelMortar Rascal Ronin

As the Mortar does its job, you can launch an attack using the Ronin or the Rascals as your main tank, followed by a sneaky Skeleton Barrel flying above them. Even Hero Goblins can be used to get in some quick damage.

For defense, use the Electro Spirit and the Fireball to take them all out. Minions will also be useful as defenders against some of the Clash Royale Best Hog Rider Decks.

4. EGolem SkeleKing Ronin

If you are facing off against some of the Clash Royale Best Mega Knight Decks, this deck perfectly counters them since you have cards like the Ronin, Dark Witch, and Void. Your main attack should consist of the Elixir Golem, followed by a Skeleton King and evolved Archers or Dark Witch.

As the smaller Golemites and Bats (spawned by Dark Witch) die one by one, your Skeleton King's ability becomes more powerful. If it's used near enemy towers, it can often take down towers if your opponent has no elixir left to defend.

The Zap Evolution and Goblin Curse are excellent spells since they can easily decimate squishy defenders (Skeletons, Bats, Minions, etc.), with the latter being able to convert them into Goblins. As such, it helps to use these spells when the Skeleton King is in the field.

5. EvoRGiant HeroTomb Miner Ronin

This deck will be my final entry for this list of Clash Royale best Ronin decks since it uses a very simple yet consistent attacking strategy. The evolved Royal Giant, followed by the Firecracker Evolution behind it, and a miner directly at the tower, should be your main attacking strategy.

For defense, you have Ronin, which is perfect against high-damaging troops. Zappies are also great for crowd control.
