Head north of the fountain and talk to the villager there. He will give you a quest called “Breaking Camp.” Get back on your crawler and travel northeast of the Polloi Islands to reach the Vassal Outpost. Once you arrive, you’ll meet a Polloi scout. Your goal here is simple:

  • Destroy three outpost towers.
  • Head north into the camp to get started.

You’ll soon run into enemies riding a beetle. Defeat them, then head to the northeast corner of the map to destroy the first outpost tower.

Once the tower is destroyed:

  • Get the chest near the beetle altar in the north corner
  • Go up the ramp
  • Head west, turn left, and climb the hill to reach the second tower
    After destroying the second tower:
  • Open the nearby chest for loot
  • Go down the hill toward the left corner

Here you’ll find:

  • Trapped Polloi
  • A Sparkfly cage

Head north and up the ramp. Clear out the area and destroy the final tower to complete the DuneCrawl Breaking Camp Quest. You will need to heal yourself when you are defeating the enemies. To know more about healing, read our article on the Dunecrawl healing guide.

  • Alternative Methods: You can also use items like Bomb Flowers or other explosive, found items to assist in breaking down enemy structures.

Vassal Towers are enemy structures belonging to the invading Vassals, found scattered across the desert. If you are facing problems in completing the quest alone, you can also complete it with your friends in multiplayer mode.
