How to Complete The Great Crawler’s Path Quest in DuneCrawl

This guide will tell you every step so you know where to go, what to do, and how to complete the DuneCrawl Great Crawler's Path Quest.
DuneCrawl The Great Crawler's Path Quest
Once you reach Shackle Ridge, dock your boat on the southern side and continue on foot. Head toward the eastern end of the area, where you’ll run into an escaped prisoner. Talking to them will start a side quest called Shackle Smash. For this DuneCrawl Great Crawler's Path Quest, you need to free five prisoners. Thankfully, they’re pretty easy to locate and rescue.

Near the spot where you first came ashore, you’ll also notice a cracked wall. Use a grenade to break it open. This leads to a dungeon called the Sanctum of the Scorpion. Before going inside the dungeon, you need to carry your best weapons and healing items.

Once you enter the dungeon, head down the ramp on the right and defeat the scorpion enemy waiting there. After that, take the first ramp on the left. Follow this path and take out two more scorpions. Continue moving forward and defeat another scorpion at the bottom. Here, you’ll find a Power Orb, which you will have to pick up.
- Carry the Power Orb back to the altar you passed earlier, near the locked door.
- Return closer to the dungeon entrance, place the orb in the altar, and open the door.
- Inside, you’ll find a blue chest containing the Smash Claw Talisman, which boosts your melee damage by 20%.
- Pick the Power Orb back up and return to the door near the ramp.
- Opening this door will trigger two acid-spitting bugs; take them out.
- You’ll now discover a shrine.
- At the end of this path is another chest with acid bombs and gold.
Go back and head up the ramp next to the shrine. Pick up the Power Orb here and carry it all the way back to the second ramp. Place the orb in the altar opposite the ramp. This will unlock both doors on the other side.

First Door
Go up the ramp and pass through the newly unlocked door. Take the left door, where you’ll encounter rolling traps. Carefully move through the traps. In the bottom corner, you’ll find a chest containing gold and a Pepperbox.
Second Door
Track back and follow the trap path until you reach a mini shrine and a ramp with rolling logs. Climb the ramp and use the alcoves on either side to hide from the logs. At the top, you’ll find:
- 3 chests
- A Sparkfly Cage
This is the treasure of the dungeon and completes the quest Scorpion Slayer.
Pick up the DuneCrawl Power Orb again and place it on the altar at the far end of the path. Then, get the Longhorn Crawler Mask and place it on your crawler’s head. This also unlocks an achievement.

Head north toward the marked X on the map. Move to the north-east corner past the graves and bombflower plants. You’ll find a bombable wall. This is the only way into the graveyard since the gate is locked. Climb the vines and immediately destroy the two mortars. Near the tents, open a chest containing:
- A Repeater
- Acid bombs
- Gold
Head down to the glowing circle to start the objective. You’ll need to survive three waves of enemies. Once cleared, the tomb opens, revealing the dungeon.
- Immediately enter the room on the right and destroy the nests
- Loot the chest inside
Go up the ramp, defeat enemies, and open the chest near the wall of masks. Head right and up, grab a bomb flower, and use it to blow open the nearby wall. Going down the next ramp will trigger a boss fight.
Boss Fight: Kiln Commander

The Kiln Commander has three main attacks:
- Mortar Barrage
Red circles appear on the ground and move out quickly. - Spinning Saw + Bullet Hell
Prevents close combat while firing constant projectiles. - Reflective Shield
Blocks both melee and ranged attacks unless you want to take damage.
Tips:
- Ensure you're constantly moving to make yourself a lesser target
- Use bombflowers around the room
- Watch out for additional enemies
Once defeated, exit the dungeon. Back in the Burial Grounds, open the chest to receive the Beetle Heart Talisman. Return to the Crawler, where the Shaman appears. This completes the DuneCrawl Great Crawler's Path Quest.
