The much-anticipated and hyped cricket game of 2026, eCricket, dropped its first gameplay trailer today. Built on Unreal Engine, eCricket is looking to bring the first-ever AAA sports simulation game exclusively for Cricket fans. With several big names like Hardik Pandya, Jaspreet Bumrah and more already licensed, the eCricket teaser didn't fail to surprise the community.

Lightfury Games Announces Closed Beta With eCricket Trailer

LightFury Games released the official eCricket teaser on August 21, 2026, giving the first look at the gameplay and graphics of the much-hyped AAA sports simulation title. The teaser also announced that eCricket Closed Beta will go live in September 2026. The rollout will be spread across different phases, and only a limited number of players will get access to test eCricket before global release.

The trailer was voiced by former Indian opener and commentator Navjot Singh Sidhu. The trailer begins with a look at a dressing room with logos of several (unlicensed) teams. Hardik Pandya and Jaspreet Bumrah showed up in the next segment of the trailer.

The player models of both Hardik Pandya and Bumrah looked very clean with realistic face cuts and walking style. Rohit Sharma also walks out padded up in the last segment of the trailer, donning the iconic number 45 jersey.

The eCricket teaser hinted at the gameplay of this title. We feel that in eCricket, you have to build an Ultimate squad with different player cards and play the matches. You may hear Navjot Singh Sidhu's commentary too, but nothing was revealed about the mechanics, batting, bowling and fielding actions as of now.

How to Join eCricket Closed Beta?

Players have very limited time to join eCricket Closed Beta. LightFury Games will release the eCricket Closed Beta in multiple phases, and only players who get a pass will get access to test the game. Those who had pre-registered for eCricket early access can receive their pass now on the official website easily with these steps:

Visit the official eCricket website.
Select the option 'Get your pass' on the home page.
Enter the email ID with which you had pre-registered for eCricket
Click on ‘Unlock My Pass’

Open the official eCricket website on any browser.
Select the option 'Join the waitlist' on the Home screen.

If there is enough space, you will receive a pass from the devs upon the release of eCricket Closed Beta.

eCricket Closed Beta System Requirements

eCricket, being a high-end game, will require players to have decent devices to run smoothly. For now, eCricket Closed Beta will only run on Android. As per the official website, your devices must have at least 8 GB of RAM. Further requirements will be revealed close to release.
