When Is Gamescom 2026, and Which Titles Will Be Showcased During the Event

It's that time of the year when Gaming's biggest annual convention is back again. Gamescom 2026 will be hosted at the Koelnmesse convention centre in Cologne, Germany. As per tradition, a Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 showcase will also provide an overview of upcoming titles from the industry giants or indie studios. While a few lucky ones will witness it in person by attending the convention, the rest can watch it for free. Geoff Keighley, one of the familiar faces in the gaming industry, will host the opening night showcase on August 25, 2026. The rest of the convention, however, will run for the next four days (August 26-30, 2026).

When is Gamescom 2026 Happening?

Gamescom 2026 is one of the biggest gaming conventions that hosted annually. Some of the leading names like Bandai Namco, Capcom, HoYoverse, Konami, EA, and more will arrive as exhibitors. Fans who attend this live event will have the opportunity to play demos and upcoming games from these publishers.

And before that, Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 is the main attraction of the whole convention. The Game Awards emcee Geoff Keighley will host the showcase. While last year's Gamescom reported over 355,000 visitors from 128 countries, this year is expected to be much more exciting.
