Honor of Kings World Gameplay Features - A Vast Open World

The grand land of Primaera is the setting of this vast RPG. Players assume the role of a new student of Jixia Academy, and begin a journey across mountains, valleys, ruins, and cities where ancient magic coexists with futuristic technology. Elusive relics, creatures and hidden stories await you in each region you explore.

The developers have designed the world to feel alive, and the exploration isn't just a platonic exploration. It involves discoveries and meaning, and not just wandering around.

Honor of Kings World Hero Abilities & Combat System

At the heart of Honor of Kings World will be its action-based combat. Players will engage and fight with the same heroes as the original game, each having their own abilities and ways of fighting on an open world stage.

You can expect the combat to have its own fast, fluid mechanics, clearly defined combat styles, and the experience will be very rewarding.

Fights with bosses, including large encounters with beasts such as the Crimson Beast, will provide strong challenges that require players to cooperate and strategise.

The developers confirmed that a PC version of this game remake, which was demoed at Gamescom 2025, included a multiplayer version of a boss fight to demonstrate the co-op elements of the gameplay.

Fans will see many familiar characters from the original MOBA, now with added depth to their backstories and personal story arcs. Players are able to interact and build relationships, as well as discover the long-lost history of Primaera.
