MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls brings 4v4 combat as the answer to DC’s Injustice

Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls is arriving in a new tactical tag-team fighting format to rival its franchise nemesis, DC Injustice. The new details revealed in Steam disclose many new details like gameplay features, playable characters, and the overall setting of the new game. Marvel Tokon is going to be available on PS5 and PC, and you can purchase it through Steam and the Epic Games Store.

MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls Brings 4v4 Combat

Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls is revealed to be an action-based 4-on-4 tag team fighter game. The game will be played in 2.5D and will include both single-player and online player vs player modes. The information was posted on the official stream page of the game.

From the gameplay footage revealed on Steam, Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls appears to be a direct competition for another title from the DC universe: Injustice. Both games are based on fighting as superheroes, but with a few major distinctions. The first is the number of playable characters in a battle.

While Injustice lets you play 2v2 matches, Marvel Tokon will allow you to pair up with another hero and experience a more exhilarating, fast-paced action. While Injustice gives you an intriguing storyline where you battle foes in only single-player mode, Marvel Tokon lets you enjoy tactical multiplayer gameplay. Although the primary mechanics of the game differ heavily, the visual aspect is what draws parallels ( you need to play it to experience it).

Marvel Tokon will also feature a single-player mode for exploring the lore of various heroes. For the Multiplayer modes, you can either battle locally with your friends or join an online lobby of 64 players. The battles will operate in standard versus mode in iconic Marvel locations. It may even support 4k graphics with 60 FPS gameplay.
