Pokémon Unite may welcome the three new Johto starters in-game very soon. As per the latest leaks, three Pokémon, Meganium, Typhlosion and Feraligatr, will be the next new arrivals.

One of the most trusted leakers in the Pokemon community, @ElChicoEevee, took to his official X handle to reveal that the final evolved version of all three Johto starters will be arriving in Pokemon Unite. The tweet was made on February 26, 2026, at 8:55 AM UTC.

Meganium, Typhlosion and Feraligatr may be revealed as part of Pokémon Presents today. Pokemon will be celebrating its 30th anniversary with a special stream today. The Pokemon Company may surprise Unite fans with the announcement of the release of these three iconic starters later today.

Pokemon Unite Meganium, Typhlosion and Feraligatr Release Date

Pokemon Unite Meganium

The final evolution of the grass type Pokemon Chikorita, Meganium, is leaked to arrive in the role of a support. You will initially enter the Aeos Island as a Chikorita. Upon levelling up, you will get Meganium.

Pokemon Unite Meganium moves that have been data mined are: Magical Leaf, Synthesis, Grass Knot, Petal Blizzard, and Full Bloom Aroma (Unite Move). Chikorita will evolve to Meganium at Level 7. Pokemon Unite Meganium is expected to release on March 5, 2026.

Pokemon Unite Typhlosion

The final evolution of fire-type starter Cyndaquil is also expected to arrive in March 2026. It will most likely be an attacker, although no information has been data mined so far.

Pokemon Unite Feraligatr

The final stage of the water-type starter Totodile is a fan-favourite amongst the three Johto starters. It is expected to come as an all-rounder. It will also have an evolution path like most other all-rounders in the game.

All three Pokemons will be S-tier Pokemons upon release and may climb to the top of the Pokemon Unite Tier List. The fans can expect a bunch of other new in-game hallowears, held items and battle items on the occasion of the franchise's 30th anniversary.
