The newest entrant in Pokémon Unite, Sirfetch'd, is a Melee all-rounder by role. Much like other All-rounders in Pokémon Unite, Sirfetch'd has one basic attack and a passive ability each and a total of 6 moves that can be used in different combinations in the battle. Out of the 6 moves, you will be allowed to use only 4 at once during a battle.

These 4 moves are categorised as: Basic attack, First Set, Second Set and Unite Move. You can find the details of Pokémon Unite Sirfetch'd's movesets below

Basic Attack

Being a Melee all-rounder, Sirfetch'd's basic attack deals damage with his leek. It basically hits the enemy with its leek, where every third hit deals the highest damage. As Sirfetch'd's level increases, so does the damage its basic attack deals to the enemy.

Passive Ability

Pokemon Unite Sirfetch'd has the ability called Steadfast. This ability has both offensive and defensive utility.

  • Defensively, this ability reduces the hindrance effects on Sirfetch'd inflicted by the enemies when its shield mode is on.
  • Offensively, this ability helps Sirfetch'd to focus and improve its critical hit rate after each time it hits a basic attack or any of its moves.

You can also know about the most unique ability of Pokemon Unite Meowth, which is very similar to Sirfetch'd.

First Moveset

You will initially enter the Aeos Island with Farfetch'd. The Farfetch'd will evolve into Sirfetch'd at level 5. So, the first moveset comprises 3 moves. Of these, there is 1 default move and 2 moves that get unlocked after the evolution. These moves are:

  • Dual Wingbeat: This is one of the default moves of Farfetch'd when it is between levels 1 and 4 on Aeos Island. Upon evolution in level 5, this move is replaced by either Leaf Blade or Fury Cutter.
  • Leaf Blade: This move also unlocks at Level 5. This move will make Sirfetch'd lunge towards the enemy and slash it with its leek horizontally. Once the move hits, it deals damage to opposing Pokémon. This move upgrades to Leaf Blade+ at level 11.
  • Fury Cutter: This move unlocks at Level 5 when Farfetch'd evolves into Sirfetch'd. You need to be close to the target to land a hot with Fury Cutter. Once you use this move, Sirfetch'd hits the enemy with continuous leek strikes while keeping its guard up with the shield. Each hit with its leak (during the move) increases the damage of the next hit (also during the move). The last hit of the move leaves the enemy confused, and they cannot react. The move upgrades at level 11.

Second Moveset

The second moveset consists of one default move and 3 other moves that Sirfetch'd learns as it levels up during the battle. You can check the details of all the moves below:

  • Quick attack: This is the second default move of Farfetch'd. It stays even after Farfetch'd evolves into Sirfetch'd till level 6. Once Sirfetch'd reaches level 7, this move is replaced by either Detect or Brutal Swing.
  • Detect: This move also becomes available at level 7, and it has 2 parts. The first part allows Sirfetch'd to use its shield to parry all enemy attacks and take zero damage for small time. If used twice in a row, Sirfetch'd lunges in a designated direction with the shield effect on. If it can parry all attacks in the first part of the move, the dashing stage of the move gets boosted and deals more damage while slowing down the enemy. The cooldown on your first moveset will also be reduced. It upgrades at level 13.
  • Brutal Swing: This move unlocks at level 7, and you can equip it in place of Quick at an ck. This move makes Sirfetch'd throw its leek-leaf shield in a half-eclipse arc. The shield deals damage to the opposing Pokemon when it hits. The shield returns to Sirfetch'd after completing its path and adds a shield effect to Sirfetch'd once it gets back in possession. Sirfetch'd can teleport to the shield midway in its path to grab it (all while dealing damage). It also upgrades at level 13.

Unite Move

The unite move is Sirfetch'd's strongest moveset in the game. It is called 'Lunging Leek Nova Blast'. It will unlock at level 9. This move gives both target and area damage. It makes Sirfetch'd charge in a specific direction, damaging the enemy it catches in the path while pushing it back. After this, it causes an explosion, dealing damage to all the enemies in the area.

The best moveset for Pokemon UNITE Sirfetch'd in this meta is:

  • Dual Wingbeat (Level 1)- Furry Cutter (Level 5)- Furry Cutter+ (Level 11)
  • Quick Attack (Level 1)- Detect (Level 7)- Detect+ (Level 11)

Pokemon UNITE Sirfetch'd Tips

Pokemon Unite Sirfetch'd

Sirfetch'd is an all-rounder, so he will be a late-game beast. You need to level it up as soon as possible. So, you need to farm the jungle in the second or third phase. You need to start with the bottom lane since it is objectively heavy, but head to the farm to level up before the 5:00 mark.

  • Early Game: Start from the bottom lane, secure all Audinos and Aipoms while trying to keep the goal secure.
  • Mid Game: Farm as much as possible and only get involved in objective fights to help the team. Try to take Sirfetch'd to at least level 11-12.
  • Late Game: Save your unite move for the final Kyogre fight. You can either lead the gank or choose to join once it happens. Either ways use your ultimate move to get at least 2-3 kills.

Pokemon UNITE Sirfetch'd Best Team

Sirfetch'd is very versatile and can be involved in any team. However, an ideal one for it would involve 2 attackers, one defender and one healer. If you have a 5-man team, then you can run this:

  • Blissey - For Support
  • Greninja - For Attack
  • Goodra - For Defence and Tank.
  • Mega Charizard Y - For Attack.
