How to Unlock the Valve Blueprint in StarRupture; Everything You Need to Know

The StarRupture Valve blueprint is necessary for advanced crafting and late-game machinery. You’ll need to travel far from your starting area, fight through enemies, and collect multiple keycards in the correct order. This guide will tell you where to find the StarRupture Valve blueprint, how to unlock it, and how they are used in crafting.

How to Unlock StarRupture Valve Blueprint

The StarRuputre Valve Blueprint location will bring you to the Selenian’s Research Outpost, which is located far to the east of your starting area. It’s a long journey, so be prepared before going out.

• The blueprint is on the top floor of the outpost, but you can’t get it right away. It’s locked inside a treasure room, and to open it, you’ll need to collect four keycards.
• The keycards must be collected in a specific order; you won’t be able to progress. Follow the steps below carefully to get all four and unlock the blueprint.
• This place is far from the start, so it’s a good idea to build a small outpost nearby. Also, be ready for enemy presence, bring proper weapons and plenty of medkits before going in.
• Make sure you collect the keycards in the order below, or you won’t be able to progress.

First Keycard - Red Leaf Override Card

Once you reach the satellite complex, look for a large, damaged building.

• Use the columns in front to jump across to the building
• Climb up from underneath using a broken pillar
• On the first floor, you’ll find a dead body
• Right next to it is your first keycard: Red Leaf Override Card

Collect it and move on.

Second Keycard – Dr Ellis Keycard (Blue)

From the first StarRupture Valve blueprint keycard location:

• Jump down toward the broken bridge
• Move forward across it
• At the end, you’ll see a small red building
• Open the door and check the table inside

You’ll find the Dr Ellis Keycard (Blue) lying there.

Third Keycard – Dr. Diaz / Perkins Keycard

From the red building:

• Head left and climb the stairs
• Move forward and jump onto another broken bridge
• At the end of the bridge, look for a building on the left
• Go inside and climb to the first floor using the ladder
• Check the table at the far end of the room for a keycard

After that:

• Continue across the broken bridge
• You’ll reach an open area
• At the far end, there’s another building
• Go inside, and on a table, you’ll find the Dr Diaz / Perkins Keycard

That’s your final keycard.

Unlocking the Central Room (End-Game Blueprints)

• In the middle of the open area, you’ll see two buildings.
• Use the debris to climb up
• Jump across from the green building to reach the red building
• Inside, go to the top floor
• You’ll find a card terminal

Insert all three keycards, and the locked door will open, giving you access to all the blueprints available in the game. The Valve is a crafting material in StarRupture. It’s used in multiple recipes and can also be exported if you want to trade or ship it out.

StarRupture Valve Blueprint Cost

To unlock the Valve for crafting, you’ll need to research it at the Recipe Station under the Mega Press category. Here’s what it costs:

• 1 Valve Blueprint
• 200 Nozzles
• 400 Titanium Housing
• 300 Titanium Rods
• 1,000 Data Points

Once unlocked, you’ll be able to craft Valves whenever you need them. After unlocking the recipe, head to a Mega Press and use the following materials:

• 1 Titanium Housing
• 3 Titanium Beams
• 2 Titanium Rods
• 1 Nozzle

Crafting takes 10 seconds and produces 1 Valve. Valves are mainly used to craft advanced machinery parts. Here’s where you’ll need them:
Pressure Tank

To craft a Pressure Tank, head to the Assembler and gather:

• 2 Valves
• 5 Heat-Resistant Sheets
• 3 Titanium Housing
• 3 Pumps

It takes 12 seconds to craft and gives you 1 Pressure Tank.
Pump

To make a Pump, use the Mega Press and collect:

• 1 Valve
• 1 Turbine
• 1 Impeller
• 3 Sulphuric Acid

Crafting takes 10 seconds, and you’ll receive 1 Pump.
