The Australian Cricket Team legend Chris Lynn has made himself a great name in franchise cricket all across the globe. The right-hander was one of the most dangerous batsmen in the world during his prime and has his ability to hit long sixes is something that has made him famous.

Chris Lynn, however, wasn't able to make a great name in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The batter featured for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Mumbai Indians (MI) in the league and performed well but couldn’t carry on his good performances in the league.

Chris Lynn Doesn’t Register for IPL 2026 Auction

This didn’t see franchises investing heavily in him and since the last few years, he hasn’t been able to fetch a deal in the IPL. The same will be the case in the IPL 2026 as he hasn’t registered for the auction, where he could have bagged the big deal. Chris Lynn IPL absence is not likely to affect the league much as he hasn't been a part of the league for some time now.

Lynn instead registered for the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2025. The Australian Cricket Team player joined Sudurpaschim Royals for INR 12.5 Lakhs. The opening batter had a decent time there as he slammed crucial runs for his team in the tournament.

Chris Lynn is the leading second run-getter for Sudurpaschim in the Nepal Premier League. The right-hander has slammed 143 runs in the six games that he has played at a strike rate of over 121 to go with one half-century in the tournament.

Lynn’s best came in the game against Chitwan Rhinos in the league, where he slammed a knock of 75 runs while opening the innings. This was his first fifty in the tournament as he slammed five fours and three sixes at a strike rate of over 133.

His innings with the bat helped his team post a massive total of 169 runs on the board. Sudurpaschim then bundled out the opposition for just 120 and won the game by 49 runs. Lynn for his heroics was awarded the Player of the Match. Chris Lynn NPL performance has surely reminded his fans of his prime.

Chris Lynn Playing for Gulf Giants for ILT20 2025

Chris Lynn is now playing for Gulf Giants in the ILT20 2025. The tournament kickstarted on December 2 and some of the big names are part of the tournament, where six teams are part of the event. Lynn is part of Gulf Giants in the ILT20 2025 and him joining the team will act as a great boost for the team.

IN 2023, Lynn had helped Gulf Giants to the title in the inaugural season of ILT20. Recently, he had smashed 5 sixes in an over bowled by Dwaine Pretorius. They started the tournament on a high as they beat the MI Emirates in their opening game of the event by 6 wickets. They will be next seen in action when they lock horns with Dubai Capitals.

The match will be played on December 6 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, one of the most beautiful cricket stadiums in the world. The ILT20 2025-26 will conclude on January 4, 2026 and Lynn's team Gulf Giants are the favorites.
