Did Arshdeep Singh Argue with Shreyas Iyer at Delhi Airport? REPORTS Spark BUZZ Amid IPL 2026

Punjab Kings (PBKS) have become the hot soup of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. After remaining undefeated for the first seven games, they lost four on the trot and now, their place for the playoffs have become uncertain as they are reeling at the fourth spot.

While their on-field performances have been concerning, there have been a lot of reports about things not being right at Punjab Kings dressing room. The reports have suggested a lot of controversies involving the team's star players Prabhsimran Singh, Shreyas Iyer and Arshdeep Singh.

The controversy started when a report in Revsportz suggested that the PBKS opener Prabhsimran Singh, one of the best wicketkeepers in IPL, has gained 10kgs weight in the last week or so with players also not coming to practice sessions, and are rather focused on playing games till morning.

However, PBKS replied to all critics in style, urging all the media officials not to spread fake news. Team's co-owner Preity Zinta also urged the same and since then, there have been a lot of negative things going against them on social media.

Shreyas Iyer Arshdeep Singh Controversy Creates Headlines Now

Amidst all the saga, there has been one major thing that hogged the headlines. As per the News 24 journalist Vibhu Bhola, things are not right between captain Shreyas Iyer and pacer Arshdeep Singh.

According to the reports, there was an argument between a team's captain and a senior fast bowler at Delhi airport. The reports suggested that the captain of the side has been riding high these days, but the fast bowler also didn’t shy away.

He gave a proper response to the captain as things between the two heated up. Although, he refrained from naming the players or the team, it is speculated that there could be more to the Shreyas Iyer Arshdeep Singh controversy. However, there is no official confirmation related to the same and one cannot truly trust these reports.

Punjab Kings in Panic Mode?

Coming to the Punjab Kings, they are placed at the fourth spot on the IPL points table with 13 points to their name. They have three more games remaining in the league and need to win at least two more to qualify for the playoffs.

Punjab Kings have been one of the best teams in IPL over the last two seasons ever since Iyer took over the captaincy. They lost the final last year but are desperate to win the title this time around. They will be next seen in action when they take on the Mumbai Indians in their next league game. The match will be played in Dharamsala on Thursday, May 14.
