Angkrish Raghuvanshi Shines in KKR Intra Squad Match 1

Kolkata Knight Riders put on a strong batting show in their first intra-squad match on March 20 at the Eden Gardens, with Angkrish Raghuvanshi smashing a brilliant hundred. The youngster scored an impressive 103 runs off 55 balls, helping the Purple Knights chase a target of 200 in the last over. Finn Allen started well, but his knock ended at 23 off 11 balls after being dismissed by net bowler Navdeep Saini.

Rinku Singh added a useful 40 runs from 24 balls, playing a key role in the middle order. Sarthak Ranjan also chipped in with a quick 37 off just 16 balls. On the other hand, skipper Ajinkya Rahane had an off day, scoring only two runs before getting out.

In the bowling department, Karthik Tyagi was the pick of the bowlers, taking three wickets for 30 runs in his four overs. However, Umran Malik struggled to make an impact, finishing without a wicket and giving away 47 runs.
