The image dates back to December 2, 2022, and fans have now started circulating it widely during Sudharsan’s impressive IPL season. Meanwhile, the GT opener continued his strong run with another half-century against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Ahmedabad.

The viral screenshot features Sai Sudharsan’s verified Instagram account liking a post uploaded by actress Ashlesha Thakur in December 2022. It was the same year when Gujarat Titans lifted the IPL trophy in their first-ever season, and Sudharsan was one of the crucial parts of their winning campaign.

Ashlesha Thakur is an Indian actress and model best known for her role as Dhriti in the popular web series, ‘The Family Man.’ She started her acting career at a young age and has also appeared in several advertisements, television projects, and OTT shows.

Apart from The Family Man, she has featured in series such as Gutar Gu and Pagglait. She has built a strong following on social media over the last few years because of her acting performances and online content. However, there is no connection between Sai Sudharsan Ashlesha Thakur as of now.

Sai Sudharsan Continues Golden Run in IPL

While social media rumours continued off the field, Sudharsan once again delivered with the bat for the Gujarat Titans against SRH at the Narendra Modi Stadium and showed why he is amongst the best batsmen in IPL. The left-handed opener scored 61 off 44 deliveries and registered his sixth half-century of IPL 2026. He reached the milestone with a sweep boundary off Shivang Kumar in the 14th over before eventually getting dismissed in the 17th over.

Sudharsan’s last six IPL innings now read 100, 87, 6, 57, 55 and 61. The consistency has kept him in the race for IPL Orange Cap this season. Against SRH, the Gujarat Titans lost skipper Shubman Gill early after Pat Cummins won the toss and elected to bowl first in Ahmedabad. However, Sudharsan steadied the innings once again during the GT vs SRH IPL 2026 clash and helped his team recover through the middle overs with important partnerships.
