All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy gave some hope to the team by smashing some boundaries before Ravindra Jadeja dismissed him. The moment came in the 10th over of the match when Jadeja delivered a flatter ball into the surface, tempting Nitish Kumar Reddy into a big slog towards deep mid-wicket. However, the batter failed to get proper timing and Dasun Shanaka completed a safe catch running in from the boundary. Nitish departed after an entertaining 38-run knock that had kept RR’s scoring rate flying.

But the wicket was only half the story. Seconds after the dismissal, Jadeja recreated Allu Arjun’s famous “Pushpa” gesture. Ravindra Jadeja celebration quickly went viral, especially because Nitish himself has often used the Pushpa pose during his own batting celebrations in the past.
