In Game 3 of the First Round Series against Oklahoma City Thunder, Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant took an awkward fall while attempting for a transition layup. The fall was rather nasty one as Morant was later ruled out for the rest of the game.

The incident occurred in the second quarter when Scotty Pippen Jr. stole an OKC pass and ran for a 2-on-1 fast break with Morant. Pippen tried passing to Ja which seemed like an easy layup. However, Thunder guard Lu Dort tried undercutting Morant mid-air, resulting him to hit the floor really hard where he stayed down for several minutes.

Will Ja Morant Return For Rest of the Series?
Ja Morant did get back on his feet for a while to attempt his free-throws and try remaining eligible to play the remainder of the game. However, he missed both his tries from the foul line and then limped off the floor, ripping off his jersey as he headed to the locker room.
The Memphis Grizzlies were already 2-0 in the series by that point. Ja Morant. However, they have been going neck-to-neck with the Thunder in Game 3, perhaps trying out ways to cover up for the 51-point blowout humiliation that they had to face in Round 1. Morant left the game with 15 points and five assists.
The Grizzlies went on to lose Game 3 of the series by 114-108 score-line and are currently 3-0 down. They had a significant 29-point lead which they ended up blowing without Morant on the floor. Morant might probably miss Game 4 of the series as well, as per interim Grizzlies head coach Tuomas Iisalo.
