CSA Women Pro20 Series 2025/26: Full Schedule, Squads & Venues

The 2025–26 CSA Women’s Pro20 Series is another major step forward for women’s cricket in South Africa, and makes the South Africa Women's cricket team one of the best women's cricket team in the world. The tournament is organized by Cricket South Africa (CSA), and it features six provincial teams, Western Province, Titans, Lions, Dolphins, South Western Districts, and Free State, competing in a round-robin format. Each team faces the others once, with the side topping the points table at the end of the league stage being crowned champions. There are no semifinals in this format, which means consistency throughout the tournament is key.

Running alongside the CSA Women’s One-Day Cup (Pro50), this T20 competition began on October 5, 2025, and is set to conclude in March 2026. The matches are spread across some of the top cricket stadiums in South Africa, including Newlands in Cape Town, Kingsmead in Durban, and the Wanderers in Johannesburg.

Western Province, who won the inaugural edition last season, came into this campaign as strong favorites. They have a balanced squad, featuring both seasoned players and rising stars. However, other teams like the Lions and Dolphins have also made a strong start in what promises to be a tightly contested race.

CSA Women Pro20 Series Schedule and Venues

The CSA Women Pro20 Series schedule features 28 matches played across South Africa from October 5, 2025, to March 13, 2026. The tournament brings together six provincial teams, Dolphins, Lions, Titans, Western Province (WPR), South Western Districts (SWD), and North West, battling it out in a round-robin format.

Matches are hosted at key venues including Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Centurion, Potchefstroom, Oudtshoorn, and Pretoria. The schedule includes high-profile clashes like WPR vs SWD, Titans vs Lions, and Dolphins vs Titans, with a reserve-day final set for March 13, 2026.

CSA Women Pro20 Series Squads

The CSA Women Pro20 Series squad has been released for four of the six participating teams. These 4 teams have already played a match each, while the other 2 teams, Titans and Free State, are yet to play a game in the tournament. There are many standout players to keep an eye on throughout the tournament. Leading the way with the bat are players like Tazmin Brits and Faye Tunnicliffe, both of whom scored consistently last season, each scoring over 200 runs. On the bowling front, Kayla Reyneke and Leah Jones have impressed with their wicket-taking abilities. Another important player to watch is Nonkhululeko Thabethe.
