Habibul came in to bat alongside Jishan Alam at the top. While chasing a modest target, Sohan came all guns blazing right from the start and didn't give any chance to Hong Kong bowlers. His aggressive intent put Hong Kong's bowlers on the back foot.

Rahman reached his century off just 35 balls with 8 fours and 10 sixes. It was a stunning knock from the opener as he aims to become one of the best openers in the world. Skipper Akbar Ali smashed 5 sixes on the trot to finish off the game. With this win, Bangladesh started their Asia Cup Rising Stars campaign with a bang.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi Lights Up Opening Day

Earlier, Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashed a 32-ball century on the first day of Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025 against the UAE. The left-handed opener has looked in excellent form and will be aiming to carry his form in the next game against the arch-rivals Pakistan.
